I think the issue is not so much with joos, both ethnic and/or religious, but with zionists who are mostly ethnic joos but it is not a must. Read about Christian zionists, they are part of the problem as well.

It's a false argument Mos - nobody stated that the policies of "a few Israeli politicians" reflect the policies of all J3ws -- Did you see anyone on this blog stating this? Of course not - and I believe you know that. Your comment is what's known as a "straw man argument." Moreover, I have stated that Iran, for example, has a small J3wish community that it respects, and I posted a video and explained why. But Zionists are different political-animals-- watch: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rn4ZX...el_video_title

Secondly, comparing Israel and Saudi Arabia is ridiculous -- The policies of the Saudi Government don't reflect the will of the Saudi people because their rulers are not elected nor do they have free and fair elections -- of course there can be no comparison. Israeli-J3ws, on the other hand, are allowed to freely elect their leaders -- and if Israeli arms sales to Azerbaijan (a publicly known fact) or suppression of discussions about the Armenian Genocide through their lobby groups (AIPAC), bothered the Israeli public, you would see Israelis protesting these decisions and voting for other candidates. Unfortunately, we see exactly the opposite -- and this practice has gone on for years. (Of course, the local J3wish kid down the street might speak up about these actions - but the Israeli-public's voting record shows that they overwhelmingly support aiding and abetting Azerbaijan - Armenia's mortal enemy at a time of war). (Mos, if Armenian politicians or lobby groups were funding Palestinian resistance groups, for example, you can be sure the Israelis would not whitewash their criticism of Armenia the way you constantly do for Israel.)

Israelis have also been orchestrating the entire information war online against Armenians (the Azeris were too unorganized to set up these programs on their own). For many years the Israeli lobby was Turky's proxy in the U.S. - now they are Azerbaijan's. (Note: I personally have learned that some "Iranians" and "Armenians" online have actually been Israelis posing as them. I am also fully aware of the training Israelis gave to Azerbaijan in the information war against Armenia.)

Mos, I challenge you to take your 'Israel is not so bad' views and turn them into a speech to give to the Armenian public if Azerbaijan attacks Armenia with Israeli arms. Test the merits of your views.

He's got you there Mos. The israelis are no 'friends' to the Armenians, especially their government.

          @ Persopolis

Well someone was claiming that J3ws as a group are playing anti-Armenian activities, when in reality it's a few Israeli politicians that may make some anti-Armenian policies (e.g. helping azeris)

Do you have proofs that everyday Israelis are actively supporting Azerbaijan? I doubt that they are even aware of their country's relations with Azerbaijan. Actually, I have known some Israelis, and they say that in Israel people are very supportive of recognising Armenian Genocide, no one hinted that there were anti-Armenian sentiments in the populations. Yeah some idiot Israeli generals may want to support Azerbaijan, but saying that Israelis think like that also is generalising. Again, show me a country where all the government's policies reflect the opinion of the populace.

Remember that Israel has a sizeable Azerbaijani J3w population.

You really think Israel supports Azerbaijan because they like Azeris? What were they enchanted by Azeri women? It's simple. Given Azeris tensions with Iran, over the Azeri minority there and other issues, it's simple logic that Israel will develop its relations with Azerbaijan. It's all geopolitical manoeuvring - don't turn this into a Israeli-Azeri love affair.

On a similar note, interestingly, Armenia is one of the few countries that does not recognise Palestine, while Azerbaijan maintains close ties with Palestine to the point, Israelis have threatened to cut ties with Azeris over those ties.

Religious J3ws spit on everybody who is not a religious J3w. They don't specifically target Armenians.

This is the map of states that recognise Palestine. Even Azerbaijan and Turkey recognise Palestine.

Armenia will not recognize any controversial territory before recognizing de jure Artsakh. It is part of Armenia's grand strategy.

Why does Azerbaijan recognise Palestine though? They have all the grounds not to. Their defence of territorial integrity given Karabakh and close military ties with Israel should make it a no brainer, but in fact they have very warm relations with the Palestinians.

Perhaps they had to show some sort of sign that they are an islamic country. They do not recognize kosovo, but that is more obvious because the kosovar claim is not that strong and it is too similar to the Karabakh conflict. Palestine, on the other hand, was/is a well know geographic area and was populated by arabs since the 700s.

Then please clarify this for me: Why are your postings here so consistently geared towards portraying Israel in a favorable light and Iran in a less favorable light? It's not like Iranians are spitting on Armenians, like religious J3ws in Israel are - Iranians have very positive relations with Armenians.

(And the story gets stranger and stranger.)
