I lived in Glendale, CA for quite some time "The damn capital of Armenia". Tigran, as much as self-hating Armenians are a disgrace, I am really ashamed of these Rabizes more. I don't know which nation's influence this is (Arabs, Turks, Kurds, whatever), but if these people become associated with "being Armenian" one day, I will denounce my nationality that same day and become an Alaskan native.

On the attached picture you can see typical rabizes. Cars and car keys are one of their fetishes, and I don't even want to go further into their habits. One rabiz quote to give you an idea: "the world has become so pervert, soon even couples will start having sex". Sex with loved ones, or even mentioning it, is something many of these guys feel offended by, their only recognized sexual partners being the prostitutes. Girlfriends are seen as fetishes, pretty much like car keys. The list of idiocies goes on and on...

So people, please read this. There ARE Armenians who do NOT have anything to do with such people, who actually DESPISE them. There are many different classes of people in each nation. Rabizes are just one class of Armenian youth, a certain culture if you like (or lack of one). Not all of us are like that, or even remotely close to that...

As for threads like this, it seems everytime some young teenage Armenian boy or girl has just discovered they are Armenian or found Armenianclub.com and happen to live in some place other than Glendale where Armenians have never been heard of, and is having an identity crisis, there must be a thread about this topic. I can safely say it has been like Nietzsche's 'eternal recurrence' concept. It has come up in many ways and shapes and forms, and continues to sprout.

Are Armenians racist? Do Glendale Armenians stop at STOP signs? Do the rabies brush their teeth with Colgate? Do all Armenians kneel down together to have a symbiotic bowel movement while smoking cigarettes? All these questions and much more intrigue the young up and coming Armenians who have never been to the Armenian utopia of Glendale. In Yerevan it was a much bigger problem though, because these guys became dominant in the city's younger generations (rising up to 80-90%, from some 20% of the lowest class citizens they were in 1980's) and they are VERY "racist" towards people who are not like them. Up to a point where you can't wear certain colors (!) and certain types of shoes/t-shirts/etc in their districts. And God have mercy on you if you're a girl and happen to pass through their districts of the city.

But this is a relatively new phenomenon in Yerevan, mostly caused by the exodus of higher classes and resulting occupation of the city by low classes. It's sort of like the black-white conflicts and demographic problems here in the states. The "whites" leave for better jobs when the economy fails, "blacks" fill up the space and turn the town into a dirty cowshed.

Oh and by the way, the words "white" and "black" are used for clarification, not for racial reasons. There are really European-looking blonde rabizes too, always being called "Kiazh" or "Chxko" or other weird names like that, but that's another story
