Forum Rules (Everyone Must Read!!!)

1] What you CAN NOT post.

You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this forum to post any material which is:
- abusive
- vulgar
- hateful
- harassing
- personal attacks
- obscene

You also may not:
- post images that are too large (max is 500*500px)
- post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or cited properly.
- post in UPPER CASE, which is considered yelling
- post messages which insult the Armenians, Armenian culture, traditions, etc
- post racist or other intentionally insensitive material that insults or attacks another culture (including Turks)

The Ankap thread is excluded from the strict rules because that place is more relaxed and you can vent and engage in light insults and humor. Notice it's not a blank ticket, but just a place to vent. If you go into the Ankap thread, you enter at your own risk of being clowned on.
What you PROBABLY SHOULD NOT post...
Do not post information that you will regret putting out in public. This site comes up on Google, is cached, and all of that, so be aware of that as you post. Do not ask the staff to go through and delete things that you regret making available on the web for all to see because we will not do it. Think before you post!

2] Use descriptive subject lines & research your post. This means use the SEARCH.

This reduces the chances of double-posting and it also makes it easier for people to see what they do/don't want to read. Using the search function will identify existing threads on the topic so we do not have multiple threads on the same topic.

3] Keep the focus.

Each forum has a focus on a certain topic. Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved to the appropriate forum, closed, or simply be deleted. Please post your topic in the most appropriate forum. Users that keep doing this will be warned, then banned.

4] Behave as you would in a public location.

This forum is no different than a public place. Behave yourself and act like a decent human being (i.e. be respectful). If you're unable to do so, you're not welcome here and will be made to leave.

5] Respect the authority of moderators/admins.

Public discussions of moderator/admin actions are not allowed on the forum. It is also prohibited to protest moderator actions in titles, avatars, and signatures. If you don't like something that a moderator did, PM or email the moderator and try your best to resolve the problem or difference in private.

6] Promotion of sites or products is not permitted.

Advertisements are not allowed in this venue. No blatant advertising or solicitations of or for business is prohibited.
This includes, but not limited to, personal resumes and links to products or
services with which the poster is affiliated, whether or not a fee is charged
for the product or service. Spamming, in which a user posts the same message repeatedly, is also prohibited.

7] We retain the right to remove any posts and/or Members for any reason, without prior notice.

- PLEASE READ -

Members are welcome to read posts and though we encourage your active participation in the forum, it is not required. If you do participate by posting, however, we expect that on the whole you contribute something to the forum. This means that the bulk of your posts should not be in "fun" threads (e.g. Ankap, Keep & Kill, This or That, etc.). Further, while occasionally it is appropriate to simply voice your agreement or approval, not all of your posts should be of this variety: "LOL Member213!" "I agree."
If it is evident that a member is simply posting for the sake of posting, they will be removed.

8] These Rules & Guidelines may be amended at any time. (last update September 17, 2009)

If you believe an individual is repeatedly breaking the rules, please report to admin/moderator.

Wow really? Is that sad fact is true then that speaks volumes of "armenians from iranian backgrounds'" integrity and real purpose to the Armenian public as a whole. I mean how utterly backstabbing and self-detrimental can they get? Geez, wow. This really surfaces and begs the question as to why and how if they really are "Armenians" or not and or if they are our historical enemies out to do damage to what remains of our culture as a whole or not.

That is because all three of those main worldly religions are an OFFSHOOT of one another with islam being more spiritually corrupt and extreme.

      Judaism--->Christianity----> Islam

All 3 were and or are and contain the following similarities:

      -Messianic
-From the same middle eastern regions
      -Semitic religions
      -Believe in an after-life pre-destiny

Armenia was just a part of the continuos stretch of European civilisation (actually occidental civilisation should be the proper term) before Turks cut us off.
Yea he is right they do show and represent a historical timeline of the many invaders e.g.Turks, Arabs, Persians and other islamic scum that have naturally stained our culture even genetically. Sadly, he is too small minded to grasp the that fact Armenians= the ancient Europeans prior to foster their islamic forced habits on us. They imposed that upon a naive group of Armenians hence why we have a lot of Armenians today that resemble their physical looks, demeanor, mindset and tedium.

Yes I guess Chinese and other Filipinos and latinos are also "middle eastern," they have the "dark thick unibrow."

Talk about one's ineptitude having no bounds.

I'll try to scan more pictures.

What the hell does an "Armenian look" like? What are we supposed to look like?

Are we this uneducated that we dont know about our own privy facts that these Armenians that you currently see today are physically carrying the invaders' genes that stained not just our customs and food but our genepools as well.

The true "pure" Armenian= the Aryan from the Aryan stock aka "Indo-European" stock. This also requires and comes with the package of them having uniquely distinct features like all cultures of Aryan ancestry, due to their diet climate atmosphere and environmental weather. Therefore, the TRUE "PURE" Armenians have green, grey and blue eyes, while tall with long legs and blonde, red hair with a sharp nose.

They do rekon they are armenians and they do want to be with armenians. i have a friend she spends her free time reading stuff about armenia, learns armenian and she even speaks hamshanahay, it's slightly different from western armenian.

I would read quran, just out of curiosity to know what does islam teach.

there are hamshens and laz people in black sea region especially in TRABZON and RIZE.for example Im turk as ethnically, but my ancestors and my relatives lived with the LAZ and GREEK people which remained from RUM PONTUS EMPIRE in TRABZON and my grand-grand mam and dad had LAZ and RUM relatives.in this way,you can claim that you are LAZ or RUM.may be Im LAZ,but every LAZ describes themselves as turk, and they are proud of turkish identity.and every RUM and HAMSHENS call themselves turk.and they are muslims.they never were forced to convert their religion and their identity.they are very happy with their turkish identity and they are very nationalistic community.

the main aim:is TO CREATE ARTIFICIAL MINORITIES IN ANATOLIA TO INFLAME SEPARATISM ESPECIALLY IN BLAC SEA REGION AND TRABZON.Im LAZ and live in trabzon.Im proud of my turk identity..

                thanks...

I am sorry, I will go off topic here, but I have a problem with this.

Treat of death... That means the faith wasn't strong enough. It means, yes whoever it was he/she was baptized and stuff, but does it make him a true believer? No..

I am not VERY religious, but I would never convert. I think it isn't just shameful, but disrespective to Armenian culture. I would never convert, no matter what. I understand these words seem empty unless I get into the situation, but I really feel strong about it.

Religion is irrelevant. What matters is patriotism.

Armenia's Orthodox Church is a keystone in our nation's identity, and thus part of what our patriotism has sought to protect from both assimilation and conquest.
