I wonder how the pagan Armenians of several thousand years ago would feel about Armenia being a Christian nation.
Those same pagan Armenians chose christianity as their religion later on. When did the pagan Armenians fight against Chrsitians anyway. Armenia converted to Christianity peacefuly.

Pagans that died hundreds of years before Christ was ever born chose to convert to Christianity? How do you think they would feel knowing that their great-grandchildren had committed this heresy?

And? Do you not have the right to make up your own mind on what religion you will follow if your ancestors happened to fight against certain people of that religion? Would you be angered by an Arab converting to Christianity because he dishonors the memory of the crusades?

Anyone who thinks there were no bloodshed spilled in Armenia before Christianity became the official religion of the state is an idiot.

Whatever. This is a discussion about Islam and Christianity. Whether Armenians were pagan before Christianity is irrevelent.

Keep in mind that if Armenians had chosen Islam as state religion, Armenia would have been a Turkic country, or worst yet - a part of Turkey.

Do you mean bloodshed spilled in order to convert Armenia to Christianity, or bloodshed spilled because of the Pagan religion?

LOL this is not real, remember Albanians and Bosnians? They choose and they are still living. Remember pomaks(bulgarian Muslims) They are still living.
                  Remember Kurds?

What if I find someone else when looking for you? My soul shivers as the idea invades my mind.

What do you think? That's a silly question to ask as Armenians prior to embracing Christianity were pagans. Thus many resisted.
