Forum Rules (Everyone Must Read!!!)

1] What you CAN NOT post.

You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this forum to post any material which is:
- abusive
- vulgar
- hateful
- harassing
- personal attacks
- obscene

You also may not:
- post images that are too large (max is 500*500px)
- post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or cited properly.
- post in UPPER CASE, which is considered yelling
- post messages which insult the Armenians, Armenian culture, traditions, etc
- post racist or other intentionally insensitive material that insults or attacks another culture (including Turks)

The Ankap thread is excluded from the strict rules because that place is more relaxed and you can vent and engage in light insults and humor. Notice it's not a blank ticket, but just a place to vent. If you go into the Ankap thread, you enter at your own risk of being clowned on.
What you PROBABLY SHOULD NOT post...
Do not post information that you will regret putting out in public. This site comes up on Google, is cached, and all of that, so be aware of that as you post. Do not ask the staff to go through and delete things that you regret making available on the web for all to see because we will not do it. Think before you post!

2] Use descriptive subject lines & research your post. This means use the SEARCH.

This reduces the chances of double-posting and it also makes it easier for people to see what they do/don't want to read. Using the search function will identify existing threads on the topic so we do not have multiple threads on the same topic.

3] Keep the focus.

Each forum has a focus on a certain topic. Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved to the appropriate forum, closed, or simply be deleted. Please post your topic in the most appropriate forum. Users that keep doing this will be warned, then banned.

4] Behave as you would in a public location.

This forum is no different than a public place. Behave yourself and act like a decent human being (i.e. be respectful). If you're unable to do so, you're not welcome here and will be made to leave.

5] Respect the authority of moderators/admins.

Public discussions of moderator/admin actions are not allowed on the forum. It is also prohibited to protest moderator actions in titles, avatars, and signatures. If you don't like something that a moderator did, PM or email the moderator and try your best to resolve the problem or difference in private.

6] Promotion of sites or products is not permitted.

Advertisements are not allowed in this venue. No blatant advertising or solicitations of or for business is prohibited.
This includes, but not limited to, personal resumes and links to products or
services with which the poster is affiliated, whether or not a fee is charged
for the product or service. Spamming, in which a user posts the same message repeatedly, is also prohibited.

7] We retain the right to remove any posts and/or Members for any reason, without prior notice.

- PLEASE READ -

Members are welcome to read posts and though we encourage your active participation in the forum, it is not required. If you do participate by posting, however, we expect that on the whole you contribute something to the forum. This means that the bulk of your posts should not be in "fun" threads (e.g. Ankap, Keep & Kill, This or That, etc.). Further, while occasionally it is appropriate to simply voice your agreement or approval, not all of your posts should be of this variety: "LOL Member213!" "I agree."
If it is evident that a member is simply posting for the sake of posting, they will be removed.

8] These Rules & Guidelines may be amended at any time. (last update September 17, 2009)

If you believe an individual is repeatedly breaking the rules, please report to admin/moderator.

Hint: karoper used it a couple of messages ago. I've also heard the expression "@si @sav" which is closer??? to "rumor."

Are you sure that the rock you're under is not the bigger one???

first, if you dont already know what people say, perhaps ignorance is a better bet for you

second, whatever it is that you feel towards me, whether it's hatred or disgust or whatever (we know it's not indifference), get over it. it's getting old. my comment was not for you.

Just a note on purity. Can we just say virgin instead of pure from now on since being a virgin does not mean a girl is pure.

Ok, just as my contribution to this thread. Do you nice little armenian boys know that when you marry your sweet "virgin" ladies, I dont know what the stats are on this, but quite a few of them get their hymen surgically moved back to place??? That's right, because these armo dudes wont take a girl who has had sex, these chicks xxxx other dudes (lots of mexicans, yup), get their "virginity" back at the hospital, and then marry these armenian guys who have no idea what's going on. isnt it better for these girls to be able to have sex with their armenian bfs without people calling them xxxxs? that way neither the guys nor the girls would have to turn to other races, or just people away from their familiar circles, to have sex. anyway, i hope that made sense.

OK, this is the first time I'm commenting in this thread. I'll just say that only a egomaniac would require only a virgin girl. What does that have to do with the girl's character. I would certainly be completely honored to have a virgin girl, but I'm not one and even if I was I wouldn't make it a requirement. What the hell does it have to do with love and compatibility? Now, I certainly wouldn't get attracted to a promiscuous and a one-night-stand kind of girl. It is my belief that women like that do not have respect for themselves and suffer form the illness that makes them feel their only worth is their sex. Although everyone has the potential to cure themselves from this illness. But any person may fall for a person, either deeply and seriously or lightly and mistakenly, and want to share intimacy, which is undoubtedly the most binding act between partners, which is also why it is important to take this step when people have established a spiritual and mental connection.

As far as the question if Armenian women should practice celebecy, I am not Sourb anyone to say Armenian women should do anything. I would prefer that Armenian women and men respect their bodies and character and not suffer from the illness I mentioned earlier. But the virginity itself, as has been discussed, is not necessary an indicator of purity and lack of it is not an indicator of lack of virtue.

What is remarkable is the tininess of your being; such a mediocre self.
                  hehe.
Siamanto, you're such an amazing judge of character and your opinion means so much to me that your poor critique of me truely breaks my heart.

As far the as the gossiping is concerned, I remember "Anglayi hiussisum gtnvats erkir@" or some such. Hmm, why not say the country directly, I don't know. Perhaps to make sure the person in question didn't know you were talking about him. I do appologize about mentioning this but it's amuzing considering you're the #1 "gossip wistleblower" in AC forum.

Yah, Armenian communities in Armenia are too closely entwined for girls to get away with xxxx like that.

Whos comin to Armenia with me to find a wife ?

Yah ^ I just believe removing that expectation of remaining a virgin will just bring us one step closer (and eventually HAVE) that "illness" your talking about. No?
