There are Armenians around here in Montreal with actual brown skin (no, not dravidian brown, but a brownish tint nonetheless, and I'm not talking about a tan)... I guess they less Caucasoid or Anatolian and more of something southern, but yeah, they are quite easily accepted by other Armenians.

But geez, sometimes I see some and they kinda look like pakistanis!

Additional points to ponder:

Most of the Middle East, including all of the Levant, used to be populated mainly by Caucasians (Roman, Greek, Persian, Armenian, Assyrian, etc) prior to the Islamic revolution and the Turkic invasions.

Even prior to that, for well over a thousand years Hittites, Hurrians and the Hyksos ruled the region in question. As such, the aforementioned nations spread their DNA and their culture throughout the Middle East.

The aforementioned were Anatolians, they were Caucasian, - and they were proto-Armenians.

Dark skinned Armenian are essentially Semites of the region that have been absorbed into our nation over the last few centuries due to various socio-political reasons.

Light skinned Arabs are essentially the remnants of ancient Hittites, Hyksos, Hurrians, Romans, Greeks, Persians - Armenians.

Armenia is not even geographically in the middle east, if you think it is oh enlightened one, perhaps you should got and take a course in geography. And I am quite sure Americans can tell the difference between the average Arab and the average Armenian, to even suggest that this isnt true is ridiculous, have you been watching the news lately? now do you know any Armenians at all? can you compare the two sights for yourself, how stupid do you have to be to confuse most Armenians with most Arabs?
Lastly where do you even come up with the information that: (and im summarizing here) Blond blue eyed Armenians are mixed with Russians and darker Armenians are not mixed with Arabs or Turks? or vise versa? interesting to see how quickly you squash other people's views for not well backed up while you post random BS with even less proof or backing.

Armenia is Geographically in Asia, but you already know this, since you are such geography expert.
Plus dont be too sure, because I know for a fact, that the "typical" American would have a hell of a time telling between an Armenian, Arab or Persian. I never said I confuse most Armenians with Arabs, I am just telling you, that the typical Armenian on the street, would be mistaken as middle eastern, by the typical American.

Secondly once again I never said blonde armenians are mixed with russians, i said that if anything they would more likely mixed, since they are the minority of Armenians, not majority. AS oppossed to the contradictory opinion, of dark armenians being mixed. I actually dont think, light or dark Armenians are mixed, in my personal opinion. I am just saying if you believe in that whole "we are mixed theory".
