However, you missed the essential point of mine that Armenian is an Aryan language and prior to the era of political correctness, it was a commonly held belief that Aryan and Indo-European were indeed interchangeable. That is the way it goes, I cannot change it.

Our knowledge and overall conception of the Indo-Europeans has much evolved since that era, and so many of the theories and terms are considered obsolete by several scholars, including amateur ones such as myself, and so I cannot change this either :P

That is a matter of opinion. That these languages exist and share substantial and formal relations is a matter of fact and hence 'Aryan languages' bears no hypothetical assumptions. This has nothing to do with evolution, unless you consider political correctness "evolution". It is still generally and universally accepted as a name for those languages. Just because politically correct "scholars" and "scientists" have filtered it out of their system and choose not to use it, and furthermore, go beyond that and ostracize those that do, means absolutely nothing in the grand scheme of things.

[Wilderness doesn't mean without people, but it does mean, to me, without industrial capitalism. In a hyper-techo-industrialized society like the US, though, WILDERNESS need to mean without anything to do with money...I've lived in many countries where wilderness and people are the same...in the US, that's rare. In the US it seems people thing in 0/1 terms... either wilderness or city... the in-between (farms and ghettos) becomes a toxic sludge of chemicals, while the city (most European) rich protect only wilderness... Wilderness is VERY important. But that, alone won't SAVE NATURE (AND HUMANITY) That was a rant that's time was due.... I didn't articulate that well, here, though. Later...]

BLACK OR WHITE?

This gets back to my points about how people are taught to think (and the language used to teach) gets translated into 'culture,' sometimes. WHITE. Anonymouse and I could go on about that word, along, for a long time. European... same thing.



Hey Siggie, I very strongly recommend this book to you. Great new ideas are presented there (and scholars always love new ‘idea’ leads. My friend who is doctoral student in psychology thinks this a new ‘primary’ source/reference for theory. “Technology, Trauma and the Wild,” “Jungian Psychology and the World Unconscious,” “Shamanic Counseling and Ecopsychology, ”… gestalt, child development, therapy, and many more essays. There are so many new ideas in the field of psychology that you can’t help but find 100 more new ideas on your own, just reading it.

Judging by your opinions and views, to me you have clearly not studied history. I suggest you read some classical works and histories and less leftist egalitarian "social psychology" literature.

If Armenians are so white and European, why are they always getting the xxxx kicked out of them in Moscow? Or Krasnodar?

All the Caucasians(misnomer obviously) are the same genetically, or very close.
Meaning those from the Caucasus. Many intermarriages between Armenians and
Azeris I've heard in the Soviet days, and Georgians, etc. I remember reading a story a while ago about a mixed Azeri female getting xxxx from her family just because she was a half-breed.
All the same xxxx. All cremated equally...
