Forum Rules (Everyone Must Read!!!)
1] What you CAN NOT post.
You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this forum to post any material which is:
- abusive
- vulgar
- hateful
- harassing
- personal attacks
- obscene
You also may not:
- post images that are too large (max is 500*500px)
- post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or cited properly.
- post in UPPER CASE, which is considered yelling
- post messages which insult the Armenians, Armenian culture, traditions, etc
- post racist or other intentionally insensitive material that insults or attacks another culture (including Turks)
The Ankap thread is excluded from the strict rules because that place is more relaxed and you can vent and engage in light insults and humor. Notice it's not a blank ticket, but just a place to vent. If you go into the Ankap thread, you enter at your own risk of being clowned on.
What you PROBABLY SHOULD NOT post...
Do not post information that you will regret putting out in public. This site comes up on Google, is cached, and all of that, so be aware of that as you post. Do not ask the staff to go through and delete things that you regret making available on the web for all to see because we will not do it. Think before you post!
2] Use descriptive subject lines & research your post. This means use the SEARCH.
This reduces the chances of double-posting and it also makes it easier for people to see what they do/don't want to read. Using the search function will identify existing threads on the topic so we do not have multiple threads on the same topic.
3] Keep the focus.
Each forum has a focus on a certain topic. Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved to the appropriate forum, closed, or simply be deleted. Please post your topic in the most appropriate forum. Users that keep doing this will be warned, then banned.
4] Behave as you would in a public location.
This forum is no different than a public place. Behave yourself and act like a decent human being (i.e. be respectful). If you're unable to do so, you're not welcome here and will be made to leave.
5] Respect the authority of moderators/admins.
Public discussions of moderator/admin actions are not allowed on the forum. It is also prohibited to protest moderator actions in titles, avatars, and signatures. If you don't like something that a moderator did, PM or email the moderator and try your best to resolve the problem or difference in private.
6] Promotion of sites or products is not permitted.
Advertisements are not allowed in this venue. No blatant advertising or solicitations of or for business is prohibited.
This includes, but not limited to, personal resumes and links to products or
services with which the poster is affiliated, whether or not a fee is charged
for the product or service. Spamming, in which a user posts the same message repeatedly, is also prohibited.
7] We retain the right to remove any posts and/or Members for any reason, without prior notice.
- PLEASE READ -
Members are welcome to read posts and though we encourage your active participation in the forum, it is not required. If you do participate by posting, however, we expect that on the whole you contribute something to the forum. This means that the bulk of your posts should not be in "fun" threads (e.g. Ankap, Keep & Kill, This or That, etc.). Further, while occasionally it is appropriate to simply voice your agreement or approval, not all of your posts should be of this variety: "LOL Member213!" "I agree."
If it is evident that a member is simply posting for the sake of posting, they will be removed.
8] These Rules & Guidelines may be amended at any time. (last update September 17, 2009)
If you believe an individual is repeatedly breaking the rules, please report to admin/moderator.

Forgive some of the folks here for not taking you and your friends seriously, but come on. Look at the situation:
1. You've come on to these boards, seemingly thinking you're the first Turks that ever thought of doing such a thing in order to "educate us" about our brainwashed propoganda. News flash: Dozens upon dozens of Turks have thought of this already, and have offered the same, exact, all over the place/inconsistent types of denials you've provided. So if some of these people don't go into the depths that I do, you'll have to excuse them. They're not as new as I am here, so I'm sure they're quite sick of dealing with this. And quite frankly, so am I already.
2. Let's take a look at what exactly is in YOUR hands, shall we? You either claim that all the evidentiary points, documents, archives, testimonials from witnesses (Turkish, and otherwise), etc, we offer are all propoganda lies, or you refuse to comment on/ignore them all together. And what do you offer in exchange to "educate us" and prove we're brainwashed? Drum roll, please....
(Get ready for the mind blowing revelation!)
Turkish archives! =s
This is your non biased, non propoganda evidence to prove Armenians wrong? To prove Armenians are brainwashed? Because the records of the accused, records that have been off limits for decades after the fact, says so? My god! Please tell me you're joking! Your friend, apaydin2148, keeps posting away from these archives, as if they mean something. Thinktwice (which I wish you would), let me ask you this (and I know it may not work this way in Turkey, but work with me on this for comparison's sakes). If someone killed your parents, and you knew damn well who did it....if YOU were a personal witness to this, and you reported it to the authorities, what would happen next? A warrant would be issued to search his place, and he'd be arrested immediately, right? Well let's suppose for some odd reason that the only proof the authorities allowed themselves to rely on was limited to what they could find in the accused's home, because after all, the accused would know best if he did it or not. And let's suppose for some odd reason they couldn't get into the home of the accused right away (I know this isn't possible, but again, for comparisons sakes). What would happen if it took a week before they could get in? Would the incriminating evidence (murder weapon(s), anything he might have snagged from the crime scene that might have had his fingerprints, any correspondance that shows or establishes motive, etc) still be there? Only if he is the most ignorant person on the face of this planet. Rather, anything there was to link him to your parents' death will more then likely be gone. Now what do you do? After all, this man opened his home to you and the authorities/experts, and they couldn't find anything. He just proved you're lying, even though you watched the event actually unfold in front of your eyes. What do you do now that you've been proven a liar, because the authorities/experts are stricktly to go off of what they find in the home of the accused?
AGAIN (as I've stated in SEVERAL posts before) I'm not asking you to completely turn your mind around, or take our side. But to concretely believe that just by being a Turk, you know the history better then anyone, or that all Turkish records are true, and that EVERYone elses is false, is blind faith. More then blind faith, it is the very definition of "brainwashed", which you so quickly accuse the Armenian side of being, yet so blatantly display yourself.

I have only met 1 turkish person who was not a moron
i worked for him through the schools occupational placement center, and he said this to me concerning the genocide, "Nune I know that April 24 is coming up, and i want you to know that if you want to take day off, i understand. And i wish you the best, and i'm sorry for the past."
AND he even bought me an armenian folk music CD... with traditional patricotic Armenian songs... he said that when he bought the CD some turkish people said bad things to him...

Crimson Glow i know what happened before and i know what happened after because i'm investigating deeper and looking reasons/acts/conclusions so i'm standing here like day one and i will. I hope you will investigate what happened before WWI. We both know they helped rebellions (of course they were armenians) and take side with enemies (French, English, Russians) you can't get rid of it...

we dont celebrate that day we commemorate it... that is the day the turkish governemnt SIGNED into order and had the LARGEST gathering of the Armenian intelligentsia jailed and them MURDERED!!! and the major killings happened after that point...
still my question has not been answered...
why do you ask? do you happen to have a different version of it? of course you would after all THAT period of time has been medically removed from en mass of the turkish people's brain...
the man i refer to you above was one of the richest people in turkey... i was in charge of the accounting and had signature authority to his key west bank accounts... he trusted me because i was armenian... he told me if i was turkish he would never had given me all that authority... i knew his bookkeeping better then he did... trust me! he was a respected authority figure in turkey and in europe and in the US...
AND HE WAS SORRY! FOR THE GENOCIDE!
i think he may have been affiliated with the SWEDISH turks who have sent letters to turkey asking them to please recognize this crime because it is true and that they are ashamed of it in europe...
