Yes, well said.....since we are on the CU train.

EU is not lost to Armenia unlike some say.....we always play both sides sooner or later somehow somewhere with timing.

Why should Armania's membership in the CU help to get Ukraine on board? How did you come to this conclusion? I don't see any real causal link.

So for all of Armenia's poodling to Russia, it has ended up in an even weaker position than before. Armenia has given the EU the finger and got a useless customs union with Russia in return, one which even Russia will no longer care about because Russia only wanted Armenia in to get Ukraine on board too. Armenia needs to discard the Customs Union asap, get back to negotiations with the EU beforre it is too late, and also keep an eye on what is happening in the Crimea - and if border changes happen, be ready to make potentual comparisons with NK.

I definitely do agree with the latter, about the intention to surround Russia, but I still think a majority of the country wants this with or without any outside encouragement. We'll see how things develop. Right now though they're not looking good. Looks like neither side is deciding to let it be.

lmao cmon you're really reaching on that one. An Armenian from Azerbaijan who grew up in Ukraine, who probably barely ever set a foot in Armenia. A majority of ethnic Ukrainians wanted this, and I don't have a doubt about that. Is it ultimately better for them, we'll see, but I don't have a doubt this was the will of Ukrainians. And the talks of Ukrainian splitting is over blown. There are only 2 districts out of 24 that have a Russian Speaking majority. If Ukraine was smart, it would just let Crimea be. Its not a region that belongs to them anyway, and the have way more than they can handle. And if the Russia leadership had some intelligence it would let Ukraine be, and let them make their own choices. Independently, Ukraine is going to be in trouble and will want to strike a middle between the two sides. But if Russia keeps instigating Ukraine, it will only drive them further, and closer to the EU

Heh kinda funny how they picked an Armenian to head the revolutionary government. This is a clear attempt to reach out to Armenia and destabilize her to. Prorussian forces have seized control of airports in Crimea. There is no going back now Ukraine will either be divided or a huge war is in the making. The guys in the other thread are rightfully worried about possible restart of war between Azeris and us during this period. I got a feeling we got another Georgia crisis on our hands.

I never said anything like this. Now your putting words into my mouth which is one of your older tricks..Armenia and Armenians would have been better off without any of these imperial pigs.

Events seem to be happening quicker than I had expected.
