Forum Rules (Everyone Must Read!!!)

1] What you CAN NOT post.

You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this forum to post any material which is:
- abusive
- vulgar
- hateful
- harassing
- personal attacks
- obscene

You also may not:
- post images that are too large (max is 500*500px)
- post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or cited properly.
- post in UPPER CASE, which is considered yelling
- post messages which insult the Armenians, Armenian culture, traditions, etc
- post racist or other intentionally insensitive material that insults or attacks another culture (including Turks)

The Ankap thread is excluded from the strict rules because that place is more relaxed and you can vent and engage in light insults and humor. Notice it's not a blank ticket, but just a place to vent. If you go into the Ankap thread, you enter at your own risk of being clowned on.
What you PROBABLY SHOULD NOT post...
Do not post information that you will regret putting out in public. This site comes up on Google, is cached, and all of that, so be aware of that as you post. Do not ask the staff to go through and delete things that you regret making available on the web for all to see because we will not do it. Think before you post!

2] Use descriptive subject lines & research your post. This means use the SEARCH.

This reduces the chances of double-posting and it also makes it easier for people to see what they do/don't want to read. Using the search function will identify existing threads on the topic so we do not have multiple threads on the same topic.

3] Keep the focus.

Each forum has a focus on a certain topic. Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved to the appropriate forum, closed, or simply be deleted. Please post your topic in the most appropriate forum. Users that keep doing this will be warned, then banned.

4] Behave as you would in a public location.

This forum is no different than a public place. Behave yourself and act like a decent human being (i.e. be respectful). If you're unable to do so, you're not welcome here and will be made to leave.

5] Respect the authority of moderators/admins.

Public discussions of moderator/admin actions are not allowed on the forum. It is also prohibited to protest moderator actions in titles, avatars, and signatures. If you don't like something that a moderator did, PM or email the moderator and try your best to resolve the problem or difference in private.

6] Promotion of sites or products is not permitted.

Advertisements are not allowed in this venue. No blatant advertising or solicitations of or for business is prohibited.
This includes, but not limited to, personal resumes and links to products or
services with which the poster is affiliated, whether or not a fee is charged
for the product or service. Spamming, in which a user posts the same message repeatedly, is also prohibited.

7] We retain the right to remove any posts and/or Members for any reason, without prior notice.

- PLEASE READ -

Members are welcome to read posts and though we encourage your active participation in the forum, it is not required. If you do participate by posting, however, we expect that on the whole you contribute something to the forum. This means that the bulk of your posts should not be in "fun" threads (e.g. Ankap, Keep & Kill, This or That, etc.). Further, while occasionally it is appropriate to simply voice your agreement or approval, not all of your posts should be of this variety: "LOL Member213!" "I agree."
If it is evident that a member is simply posting for the sake of posting, they will be removed.

8] These Rules & Guidelines may be amended at any time. (last update September 17, 2009)

If you believe an individual is repeatedly breaking the rules, please report to admin/moderator.

Yet lying to the entire country, world even, is okay?

        1) John Edwards fought for the unfortunate and the middle class as a trial lawyer. They attack him as if he's a big city New York type attorney. He fought rightful and meaningful cases. I am certain that if you were in the place of the people he fought for, you wouldn't make those comments. There are some very interesting cases he fought for, like defending a little girl who had her intestines eaten up by a pool drain when the manufacurer knew about the malfunction and refused to fix it with a 2 dollar cover.

        2) What did Bush lie about? Where to start! Job creation (1st president since Hoover not to create jobs), healthcare (5 million more Americans without healthcare bringing the total to 45 million uninsured, you should know that being in the industry), the war in Iraq, WMD's, Oil prices (Saudi ties), revealing CIA covert operatives, tuition help, no child left behind, he cut military combat pay (thanks for going to a war I lied about, but i'm still going to cut your pay and benefits), cut the VA budget and veterans benefits, failed to fund firehouses and cut their funding, refused to add more law enforcement to the streets, is that enough or shall i go on?

        3) Bush's record on Armenian issues speaks for itself. http://www.ancsf.org/kerryvsbush.htm

George Bush and Diick Cheney DO NOT have record themselves to run on. So they have to resort to dirty politics and attack John F. Kerry and John Edwards to create a smoke screen. Bush is hiding away from his record by trying to hide his head in the sand like an ostrich. He couldn't even name 3 basic mistakes he made in the last debate. I can name 30. It's time to stop being stubborn, arrogant and decietful.

He's not talking about what he would do, and in turn is attacking Kerry. His plan is 4 more years of the same. Can we afford that? Can we afford record deficets? Can we afford ill funded education? Can we afford to have 95% of our cargo in ports and airports not be monitored or inspected? Can we afford to be lied to about the reasons we go to war or our foreign relations? Can we afford to be hated abroad? Can we afford to have an administration that has ties to Enron, Tyco, Saudi Royal family, and looks the other way when they do illegal, immoral and unethical things? Can we afford to have more Americans lose their healthcare coverage? Can we afford higher gas prices?

It's time to face America, be honest with America, and time to level with the American people.

It's time to tell George Bush to move back to Crawford, Texas and not to let the door hit him on the way out.

It's amazing how some people are so hopelessly dependent upon lies and propaganda simply to hold fast to their prism without which they could not go ontheir daily living.

Recently, Michael Badnarik, the Libertarian candidate for President, and David Cobb, the Green Party candidate for President, were arrested for attempting to serve papers to the Commission on Presidential Debates, when they tried to get through a barricade. Two previous attempts to serve the CPD with the papers were thwarted by guards in a clearly criminal attempt at evasion. The CPD masquarades as a "non-partisan" non-profit organization, but it is really criminally using taxpayer money to support certain candidates (Bush and Kerry).

This week Bush will start airing a ad assailing Kerry on Health Care. The ad's are deceptive, misleading and loaded with inaccuracies.

The ads focus entirely on Kerry's proposal and do not mention Bush's health care record. During his first term, the number of Americans without health insurance has risen to nearly 45 million in 2003 from nearly 41.3 million in January 2001. And Medicare costs are soaring.

This is a continuance on the inability for Bush to speak about his own record. By releasing this ad along with his other ads, and resorting to placing labels, it's proving that George Bush is unfit for command, and unable to lead this country for the next 4 years.

These are not your thoughts. What experience do you have with the healthcare industry? What do you know about Medicare? How is the president supposed to control healthcare costs? What are the reasons for increases in healthcare cost? What are Kerry's proposals to deal with this?

When you have some idea on how to answer these questions then you can have a stance. Until then you're repeating what you've been told to think.
