I think it's stupid when girlfriends have an issue with me having female friends. Just another manifestation of petty insecurity that adds strain to a relationship. You can tell whether or not the guy is really yours by the way he behaves around you. Who cares what he does when he isn't? If you can't trust, you shouldn't be in a relationship to begin with.

By the way, most of the girls I've been with had primarily male friends, and I never gave it a second thought.

That's because most women have male friends. Interestingly enough each one considers that a unique phenomenon. However, it will truly be unique to encounter a few women who say that they have a number of girlfriends, since is an extremely rare occurrence. For some strange reason women have a hard time connecting with women, why can't they do the same thing they do with the male friends with their female friends?

By the way, I am proud to say that lately I've broken free from that stigma. I have just as much great female friends as male. And I have to say that it's much better that way. And yes, males and females can be friends.

In my class, there is a girl, the first day I saw her I knew we would become close. 10 months later we are very good friends, we act like an old married couple. People in class say "You two act like you've been dating for years." I haven't asked her out on a date type deal, yet. She's said before "We are just friends." But on the other hand, she's done/said stuff to make me think there could be more. So right now I'm not going after the romantic part, if we just stay friends then it's fine with me, if something else happens, then even better. I know I will always adore her and remain good friends after school ends this December.

I have one or two slightly good male friends, if that. I have two incredibly great female friends I wouldn't know what to do without. I actually like having female friends more than I liked having male friends.

She is not really just your friend if you're sexually, more-than-friends-ly attracted to her.
