Why is this such a touchy issue for you? Does it matter what I agree with or don't? I obviously don't agree that marriage is all bad, or that there is nothing beyond sex.

You are making things up. I don't need to say it. The "law of different genders" says it far louder than I ever will. And I thought I said it is up to her to do what she wants with her single life.

Well, I dont know, I'm sure you don't agree with all he says either, right? I mean, do you really believe that there is no such thing as love or something higher on a spiritual spectrum? Tom Leykis is a smart man, with alot of good points, but doesn't mean I have to agree with all the things he says. In fact, some of the things he says make him sound pretty stupid, but that his prerogative.

If you are suggesting the point where I made an example of if I were the guy she was dating, that is the deal. Notice I never said who she can or can't be friends with. I simply said that this is the rule. The choice to be friends with whom she pleases is entirely hers. You are confusing entirely two different things: telling someone that guys and girls can't be friends because it doesn't work, is not the same as telling them who they can or cannot associate with in the form of a command. Of course this is a failed effort trying to get girls such as yourself to understand this, like water poured on sands.

As if you dont know, by telling your gf to dump her guy friends or you will leave her you ARE in fact telling her who she can or cannot associate with in the form of an ultimatum/command. No, its not THE SAME, but it works the same way in that specific situation. If you dont see it as such, fine.
