Armenians are THE oldest Aryan race, and we ARE white.

And as for the thread issue, I personally would prefer that Armenians marry our own, however, in many cases, including my own, we live in areas where we are very few. I live in a very isolated part of Australia with less than 30, 000 people withing a 500km radius, and I know of only 2 other Armenian persons in this area!! I married an Australian lady who respects what I am and my family heritage and is very eager to learn about our people and proud tradition and history. I suppose I could be accused of hypocrisy for my view, but the reality of my, and others' situation is such that we are not part of a large Armenian presence.

      Who told you that, Stormfront?

Armenians are Armenians, we speak an Indo-European language, our ancestors were involved with Aryan migrations... That doesn't make us the same people that lived in the region 5000 years ago.

Anyhow, as for keeping Armenian homogeinity, it doesn't matter if you marry an odar, so long as you pass down your culture. It's not like it's such a boring topic for your spouse to learn either :P

      Quite the contrary.

Please excuse my ignorance, but what is Stormfront?

          see for yourself http://www.stormfront.org

I'll take my assumption back now :P Basically, Armenians there try to romanticize our legacy in a pro-white sort of way, and the whole Aryan talk is one of the ways they do it.

            Cheers jgk3,

What a strange site that is!!! seems like a cross between the KKK / Nazi Party and whole bunch of guy's with huge knives and guns!!.

Even found a thread on Armenia in there, seemed like a few 'less psycho' persons inhabit there at least!! - Is a site like that even legal?? I mean I know there is the right to free speech and all, but geez, I'm not really sure about all the nazi and hatred stuff.

I imagine the CIA etc etc would be collecting IP's from a place like that????

            Cheers

Re: What do you guys think? Armenian w/ non-Armenian?

Actually, I am armenian (from my father), I don't speak the armenian language and was never involved in any armenian school, club or activity in my country, though armenians here have their own schools, churches, clubs but I and my sibblings never though of getting involved in all that and were never even aware of the existence of a large armenian community here, so I lived my whole life as a non-armenian. But when I got married to my husband he knew how to make me feel proud that I am armenian, he tough me some of the language, introduced me to the Armenian community and it was so hard to get along with them because I didn't understand any word then, but now, I feel that I am so armenian, and specially after I visited Hayastan three years ago and felling in love with the country. It all depends on the armenian guy or the girl and how he/she will react to introduce the other part to their armenian world.

                Haha, cheers Mezbo.

Those people possess a lot of knowledge about history, economic conditions, etc... But they also have a lot of knowledge on genetic differences and stuff like that from their Nazi sources. Knowledge doesn't translate into truth you know, it's what they believe in.

I don't think the CIA gives a damn about them for the most part. Maybe if they were plotting some terrorist action, they'd pick it up right away through casual inspection of the site?

That's pretty sweet. Makes me think of a guy I had a class with last semester that was Armenian but didn't speak the language or really know much about the history of community. He's spending the summer in Armenia, his first time there. I hope he falls in love too.

Re: What do you guys think? Armenian w/ non-Armenian?

It's interesting to see the many different points of view...I'm half Armenian, half Spanish and the fact that my family didn't come from the same background did not keep me from experiencing both cultures, and I love that. It actually taught a lot of ppl from both sides of my family that a mixed marrige can work. My dad's family was totally against the marriage, my mom's side didn't care. My grandparents always said that my dad's ethnicity was something that never crossed their minds...

As for myself, religion is something that would matter more than ethnicity...I've been dating an Indian guy and I don't see why our background could interfere in our marriage if our religion doesn't (not sure if I'm making myself clear here...hehehe).

PS: He is not Muslim...grew up as Hindu, but doesn't practice anything...

I dont really think it makes a diffrence if an Armenian boy/girl goes out with a Non armenian. Who said two Armenians that are togheter is always the right thing. In my past expierence i can tell you that its not always a good idea to date your same ethnicity. For example I was going out with a hayastanci girl & we broke up just because Im beirutSi... so now that Im getting married to an odar we truly love eachother & are happy togheter.
