Going back 200 years in what respect? US is not in great shape for a lot of reasons, but too much science is not one of them. If anything it's due to a lack thereof. Besides, I don't know where this year estimate comes from anyway. You can't just state that like fact. "Why doesn't everybody know the US has regressed precisely 200 years?!" So again... Going back 200 years in what respect/way? Explain.Originally posted by KanadaHye View PostUhm... if you haven't noticed your country is going back about 200 yrs thanks to "science". See quote in above post... I accept written apologies only.Originally posted by KanadaHye View PostI'd like to see a quote where I said this. You again are hallucinating on those brownies. If liberal-atheist-scientists can swindle funding to make up crap then I think it's only fair that smaller snake oil producers get a piece of the pie.
And purely for entertainment purposes and because I want to encourage the Fizzixist to return... Please tell me what liberal-atheist-scientists (so many "bad" words, oh my!) have made up with swindled funding.
Though, I can't say that I have very high hopes for this... You still didn't really explain how relativity is wrong (I'd like to see it "fixed" and with math that still works out).Last edited by Siggie; 07-28-2011, 12:52 PM.

Unfortunately, the WHO and company wouldn't bother researching any alternate medicines on whether or not they are effective since for the most part, they are a cheaper alternative and it wouldn't make sense (economically) to do this.
And don't let our Armenian recipe for "Naneh Limone" out to the public

They are wasting "time" and "money", both human inventionsOriginally posted by Siggie View PostWhat's limiting advancement is people saying stuff like "we don't know what came before the big bang, so God did it, end of story."
Scientists, on the other hand, are still working on a unified theory.

That's precisely what is limiting advancement.Originally posted by HotFizzixist View PostWhether or not the article you pointed to a few posts ago has scientific merit, I don't know. Ty for sharing that factoid, but Snapple had already informed me of that.Originally posted by KanadaHye View PostTime goes by the fastest when we're asleep. We spend roughly 1/3 of our time on Earth asleep.

Well, space at any given instant of time is timelessOriginally posted by KanadaHye View PostSpace is timeless. Time exists only in our world (we created it as a measure of the earth's rotation).
There's the universe now... and now... and now. At each of those instants, the universe is timeless, but in order to progress from one configuration to the next, the universe must change its time coordinate.
