Forum Rules (Everyone Must Read!!!)

1] What you CAN NOT post.

You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this forum to post any material which is:
- abusive
- vulgar
- hateful
- harassing
- personal attacks
- obscene

You also may not:
- post images that are too large (max is 500*500px)
- post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or cited properly.
- post in UPPER CASE, which is considered yelling
- post messages which insult the Armenians, Armenian culture, traditions, etc
- post racist or other intentionally insensitive material that insults or attacks another culture (including Turks)

The Ankap thread is excluded from the strict rules because that place is more relaxed and you can vent and engage in light insults and humor. Notice it's not a blank ticket, but just a place to vent. If you go into the Ankap thread, you enter at your own risk of being clowned on.
What you PROBABLY SHOULD NOT post...
Do not post information that you will regret putting out in public. This site comes up on Google, is cached, and all of that, so be aware of that as you post. Do not ask the staff to go through and delete things that you regret making available on the web for all to see because we will not do it. Think before you post!

2] Use descriptive subject lines & research your post. This means use the SEARCH.

This reduces the chances of double-posting and it also makes it easier for people to see what they do/don't want to read. Using the search function will identify existing threads on the topic so we do not have multiple threads on the same topic.

3] Keep the focus.

Each forum has a focus on a certain topic. Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved to the appropriate forum, closed, or simply be deleted. Please post your topic in the most appropriate forum. Users that keep doing this will be warned, then banned.

4] Behave as you would in a public location.

This forum is no different than a public place. Behave yourself and act like a decent human being (i.e. be respectful). If you're unable to do so, you're not welcome here and will be made to leave.

5] Respect the authority of moderators/admins.

Public discussions of moderator/admin actions are not allowed on the forum. It is also prohibited to protest moderator actions in titles, avatars, and signatures. If you don't like something that a moderator did, PM or email the moderator and try your best to resolve the problem or difference in private.

6] Promotion of sites or products is not permitted.

Advertisements are not allowed in this venue. No blatant advertising or solicitations of or for business is prohibited.
This includes, but not limited to, personal resumes and links to products or
services with which the poster is affiliated, whether or not a fee is charged
for the product or service. Spamming, in which a user posts the same message repeatedly, is also prohibited.

7] We retain the right to remove any posts and/or Members for any reason, without prior notice.

- PLEASE READ -

Members are welcome to read posts and though we encourage your active participation in the forum, it is not required. If you do participate by posting, however, we expect that on the whole you contribute something to the forum. This means that the bulk of your posts should not be in "fun" threads (e.g. Ankap, Keep & Kill, This or That, etc.). Further, while occasionally it is appropriate to simply voice your agreement or approval, not all of your posts should be of this variety: "LOL Member213!" "I agree."
If it is evident that a member is simply posting for the sake of posting, they will be removed.

8] These Rules & Guidelines may be amended at any time. (last update September 17, 2009)

If you believe an individual is repeatedly breaking the rules, please report to admin/moderator.

Yes indeed, and this is what is meant by calling levin a tool of a tool.

freaky once again showed his lack of understanding of the so called "color revolutions", and what there real purpose is, which is not democracy.

THE PRE-CONDITIONS ARE PRESENT IN ARMENIA, HOWEVER THERE IS NO REASON FOR "VELVET REVOLUTION"

YEREVAN, JANUARY 10, ARMINFO. Pre-conditions are present in Armenia, however, there is no reason for "velvet revolution", said member of RA National Assembly, politologist Amayak Ovanessian in the interview with the correspondent of ARMINFO, commenting on the statement of editor-in-chief of Russian Service of BBC Konstantin Eggert referring to that Armenia will be the first state after the Ukraine where the "velvet revolution" will take place.

        A. Ovanessian noted that the hard social-economic conditions of the people, the falsification of results of presidential and parliamentary elections' in 2003, as well as the high level of corruption and shadow economy could be called as pre-conditions for implementation of "velvet revolution" in Armenia.

The only fact that in Armenia the "velvet revolution" have not taken place yet is explained only with the weakness of Armenian opposition. However, the post-soviet states bear a great resemblance to each other and processes occurred in these countries, on the principle of communicating vessels, "flow" from one state into another, noted A. Ovanessian. "If the level of democracy and social welfare in the post-soviet states is high enough, George Soros with his money never can do a revolution there. It is not necessary to underestimate the factor of people ever",- Armenian deputy empathized.

For the first time in more than 600 years, Armenia is free and independent, and we are therefore obligated
to place our national interests ahead of our personal gains or aspirations.

The UN and other humanitarian organizations are asking for the state of emergency to be lifted and despite conflicting reports of what happened, the government forces cleared the square at 7:00 a.m. and eyewitness claimed they were beating people, one of the businesses burnt down was apparently owned by an opposition PM and masked officers were seen firing into the crowd. Notwithstanding any of the reports that the protesters were armed, I have not seen one report where the protesters were firing on the RA forces.

And, when 100, 1000 or 10000 people gather to petition their government by assembling peacefully to protest peacefully, it would be very easy for the powers that be to put NSS agents or other RA officers in the crowd in civilian clothes to start a feigned riot to garner a forceful response from the authorities.

Removing an imperfect media and placing the country under what appears to be temporary martial law does not alleviate the strain on the country or its leaders, it actually looks like they are trying to quash petitioning against the government and buy time to cover up what they did and whats been done, if anything. If they had nothing to hide, why the censorship, why the emergency.

The government is apparently as immature as Armenian, Virgil and their Axis of Stupidity. When they don't like what they hear and see, the respond violently or venomously.

Have any of the people who have been detained including government officials been charged and arraigned yet? offered bail? been advised of their rights including a right to an attorney? spoken to an attorney? or, are they being bloodied in a backroom by a Soviet butcher?

We do not know who destroyed what or who started what. Depending on who you speak to and who reported it, the story is in conflict. The confrontation occurred at Liberty Square and in front of the French Embassy. The whole city was not in chaos.

What? So, now the pundits here are blaming George Soros for seeking to cause a revolution in the RA.

What a bunch of moonbat conspiracy generating nutters there are on this board.

Did you ever think that NSS could have planted people in the opposition protesters to wave the Israeli flag?

              That is possible, isn't it?

If foreigners are responsible for attempting to mobilize a soft revolution, then Kocharyan is as responsible for not foreseeing that event and taking advance precautions as LTP may be for promoting it.

The COLOR of REVOLUTION : Orange Revolution in Iran

We are two weeks away from elections in Iran. Many events happening on the streets in Iran show similarity with steps in a "Orange Revolution". Are we witnessing an Orange Revolution in Iran? Actually Orange Revolution did happen in Armenia just last week with thousands of people arrested and Orange Revolution ended in failure. A Russian spokesman officially announced the failure of the "Orange Revolution" and stated the US had backed off in Armenia.

What is an "Orange Revolution"?? It is a scheme by George Soros and Liberals in US to bring pro-western elite to power in target countries. "Orange Revolution" has been tried in Ukraine, Georgia, Uzbekistan, Kyrgistan and other countries. Some have led to failure and some has succeeded such as in Ukraine and Georgia.

Orange Revolution is a combination of "civil disobediance" "youth generation" and "pro-western elite in the state apparatus" and extensive use of "internet and cell phone technology" to remove the old elite and bring a fully pro-western elite into power.

Understanding the methods of "Orange Revolution" it seems the insect cartoon against Azeris in Iran in May 2006 was actually a provocation by Mr. Ahamdinejad according to his Pan Turk agenda to bring Azeris on the street and presenting them as an "oppressed minority" in Iran. The Republic of Azerbaijan demanded at the time that Iran stops "Persian Racism" by the Persians in Tehran against Azeris. Just to recall that %70-%80 of Tehranis are Azeri Turks and the whole regime is controlled by Azeri Turks!!!!

Also according to some reports Mr. Ahmadinejad has asked his Pan Turk supporters to drop Aryanism from their agenda if it is appropriate. This is probably due to anticipation that alliance with the royal family may not work and Mr. Ahamdinejad may have to do a sharp turn into pure Pan Turkism.

There are also signs that Turkey is the next target for the Orange Revolution. The following is a description of "orange revolution" methods and techniques.

                Orange Revolution Methodology

The model of the orange revolution run by Zbig and Mark Brzezinski in Ukraine is the key to understanding what was attempted in New Hampshire. Methods that the Brzezinskis, the George Soros Open Society Foundation and their helpers at the US National Endowment for Democracy (NED, also known as Project Democracy) have perfected overseas are now being brought home to promote the Brzezinski agenda and continue the line of stolen elections from 2000, 2002, and 2004.

Mob rule, what the Greeks called ochlocracy, is the essence of the color revolution or people power coup. The modern theoretical basis of these mob coups has been provided by the writings of a certain Gene Sharp. In order to carry out a color revolution, large sums of money are required to pay bribes and buy support. Beyond that, the following ingredients are necessary:

                1. Media.

It is essential to control the key television channels, or at least one major network. In less developed societies, a well-known radio station might suffice, but here in the US it takes a broadcast network and one or more cable networks, backed up by news magazines, daily newspapers, and various internet sites. These organs must attempt to create a collective hysteria or mania in the whole society in favor of the people power coup. In Iowa and New Hampshire, the media swoon was led by NBC/MSNBC, but included most of the networks, plus Newsweek, the Boston and New York tabloids, and many others. Obama was fawned over by George Will, David Broder, Robert Novak, and many other columnists, including those with markedly right wing profiles.

                2. Rent-a-mobs.

It is easy to attach a label to the articles posted but not provide any reasoning behind your judgment. However, I think if you pulled your head out of your a**, you would maybe see that this is a bigger issue than some poor saps in Yerevan who want to oust the current administration.

Yet time and again you have shown yourself to be a dumba**, so I do not hold out hope for you.

Stop spreading your anti Armenian rants, at least Armenian posts something corresponding to the truth, where as you and others like you post the rumors that you hear from your cousins, grandma's, brother's, daughter in Yerevan.
