Forum Rules (Everyone Must Read!!!)

1] What you CAN NOT post.

You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this forum to post any material which is:
- abusive
- vulgar
- hateful
- harassing
- personal attacks
- obscene

You also may not:
- post images that are too large (max is 500*500px)
- post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or cited properly.
- post in UPPER CASE, which is considered yelling
- post messages which insult the Armenians, Armenian culture, traditions, etc
- post racist or other intentionally insensitive material that insults or attacks another culture (including Turks)

The Ankap thread is excluded from the strict rules because that place is more relaxed and you can vent and engage in light insults and humor. Notice it's not a blank ticket, but just a place to vent. If you go into the Ankap thread, you enter at your own risk of being clowned on.
What you PROBABLY SHOULD NOT post...
Do not post information that you will regret putting out in public. This site comes up on Google, is cached, and all of that, so be aware of that as you post. Do not ask the staff to go through and delete things that you regret making available on the web for all to see because we will not do it. Think before you post!

2] Use descriptive subject lines & research your post. This means use the SEARCH.

This reduces the chances of double-posting and it also makes it easier for people to see what they do/don't want to read. Using the search function will identify existing threads on the topic so we do not have multiple threads on the same topic.

3] Keep the focus.

Each forum has a focus on a certain topic. Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved to the appropriate forum, closed, or simply be deleted. Please post your topic in the most appropriate forum. Users that keep doing this will be warned, then banned.

4] Behave as you would in a public location.

This forum is no different than a public place. Behave yourself and act like a decent human being (i.e. be respectful). If you're unable to do so, you're not welcome here and will be made to leave.

5] Respect the authority of moderators/admins.

Public discussions of moderator/admin actions are not allowed on the forum. It is also prohibited to protest moderator actions in titles, avatars, and signatures. If you don't like something that a moderator did, PM or email the moderator and try your best to resolve the problem or difference in private.

6] Promotion of sites or products is not permitted.

Advertisements are not allowed in this venue. No blatant advertising or solicitations of or for business is prohibited.
This includes, but not limited to, personal resumes and links to products or
services with which the poster is affiliated, whether or not a fee is charged
for the product or service. Spamming, in which a user posts the same message repeatedly, is also prohibited.

7] We retain the right to remove any posts and/or Members for any reason, without prior notice.

- PLEASE READ -

Members are welcome to read posts and though we encourage your active participation in the forum, it is not required. If you do participate by posting, however, we expect that on the whole you contribute something to the forum. This means that the bulk of your posts should not be in "fun" threads (e.g. Ankap, Keep & Kill, This or That, etc.). Further, while occasionally it is appropriate to simply voice your agreement or approval, not all of your posts should be of this variety: "LOL Member213!" "I agree."
If it is evident that a member is simply posting for the sake of posting, they will be removed.

8] These Rules & Guidelines may be amended at any time. (last update September 17, 2009)

If you believe an individual is repeatedly breaking the rules, please report to admin/moderator.

    [QUOTE=Persopolis;310603]THOUGHTS ON ISRAEL:

IF ANYONE WANTS THESE VIDEOS DELETED, LET ME KNOW. HOWEVER, I THINK YOU SHOULD BE AWARE OF THEM. AND PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT I PERSONALLY VERIFIED THAT EACH OF THESE VIDEOS WAS MADE BY ISRAEL ON BEHALF OF AZERBAIJAN (THEY HAVE A PARTNERSHIP PROGRAM TO SPREAD ANTI-ARMENIAN PROPAGANDA). YOU WILL NOTICE THAT ONE OF THE VIDEOS SAYS "INFOLIVETV" -- THAT'S AN ISRAELI COMPANY. [QUOTE]

This videos are made by Israely Azeries.... there are 100s of thousands xxxs from Azerbajan living in Israel.... I do not know how xxxes this people are but they continiu to be turks for sure

In my opinion despite Israel being not friendly state to Armenia it is still a very good ROLE MODEL for an Armenian state.
Do you think "anti-Israeli" and "anti-semitic" are the same thing? Should we invent a work called "anti-TURKite" that means we can't criticize the Turks? Please tell me in detail what anti-Semitism is, and whether the vast majority of Israeli-J*ws are semites?

If Armenia wants to become like Israel, it needs steal US & Russian technology (like Israel does); and obtain a cummulative 3 Trillion USD in foreign aid, including billions in free military hardware and grants ... Israel was NOT built from J*wish grandmas selling bowls of Motzah-ball soup.

So we should criticize and discuss their "Azeri-background" but not their "J*wish-background"? How does that make any sense?

WHO IS CLAIMING TO BE SUBJECT TO ANTI-SEMITISM? WHICH ONES RULE ISRAEL, THE SEMITES?

There's already a thread for anti-Semitic propaganda. Yeah some people claim here that all J3ws are against Armenians and want to take our lands. The naive level of some people is just laughable

Talking about learning from Israel, a Armenian Military commission was set up to specifically study Israel's army and how some of what they do in the army can be incorporated into Armenian army.

We should also strengthen our lobby groups in USA and Russia - so they can give us more money and weapons.

          @Persopolis

As much as I love our Persian brothers, and I hope you are one of them, I cant tolerate any hatered towards J-ews just for being J-ews. You are trying to create a confusion messing with religion and ethnos. Yes there is Judaism and there are ethnic J-ews... most of the Judaists are ethnic j-ews but of cours there are some exeptions... so please stop this it is pointless... comparing J-ews to tueks? how posible? J-ews are the one of oldest civilizationes in the world not less important than Persians are, when turks are mongols. And J-wes never come close to what turks did.... So please stop it.

Mukuch, try reading the post below if you haven't already. People of Khazaria (a J3wish state.... a kingdom of Judaism if you will) were responsible for Armenia's loss of independence. They invaded Armenia and it's evident there are elements both in Israel and Azerbaijan who are working together against Armenia. There are probably still elements in Armenia and around the world who have taken on Armenian last names. So what is wrong with discussing history?

Well, first the technology and wealth was exported to US and Russia from Germany... then after creating the Israeli state, they began transferring the technology to Israel.

This is a follow-up to Post #202 Regarding the Khazar take-over of Azerbaijan:

Article Excerpted to Show Common Points to Post #202. Read in full here: http://www2.tbo.com/content/2008/sep...s-nationworld/

                  The Associated Press
                  Published: September 21, 2008

MOSCOW - A Russian archaeologist says he has found the lost capital of the Khazars, a powerful nation that adopted Judaism as its official religion more than 1,000 years ago, only to disappear and leave little trace of its culture.

The Khazar empire was once a regional superpower, and Vasilyev said his team has found "luxurious collections" of well-preserved ceramics that help identify cultural ties of the Khazar state with Europe, the Byzantine Empire and even Northern Africa. They also found armor, wooden kitchenware, glass lamps and cups, xxxelry, and vessels for transporting precious balms dating back to the eighth and ninth centuries, he said.

He said his dig revealed traces of a large fire that probably dates from the Russian conquest. He said Itil was rebuilt after the fall of the Khazar empire, when ethnic Khazars were slowly assimilated by Turkic-speaking tribes, Tatars and Mongols, who inhabited the city until it was flooded by the rising Caspian Sea around the 14th century.

                  KHAZAR EMPIRE

•The Khazars were a Turkic tribe that roamed the steppes from Northern China to the Black Sea.

•The Khazars' ruling dynasty and nobility converted to Judaism sometime in the 8th or 9th centuries.

The study of the Khazar empire was discouraged in the Soviet Union. The dictator Josef Stalin, in particular, detested the idea that a xxxish empire had come before Russia's own. He ordered references to Khazar history removed from textbooks.

Interesting video I found. (Note: The first video I found was removed by youtube as soon as I posted it here; here's another one.)

Note: some other historians give different motives for the participation of the crypto-j*ws in the AG (e.g., they wanted to take over Armenian businesses and objected to Christians).

Excerpted From: Jimmy Johnson, The Electronic Intifada, 28 March 2011
                      http://electronicintifada.net/v2/article11880.shtml

"Most of the world recognizes Azerbaijani sovereignty over Nagorno-Karbakh, but it is a de facto independent state pending the conclusion of Armenian-Azerbaijani negotiations. Turkey and Israel were two of Azerbaijan's primary supporters in the conflict. The US embassy cable notes that Israeli-Azerbaijani relations are 'discreet but close.' This was put concisely by Israeli President Shimon Peres during a June 2009 visit to Baku: "You bring the oil, we'll bring the ability and technology" ("Azerbaijan: Aeronautics and Shikun & Binui in large contracts," Globes, 28 June 2009). By 2009, Azerbaijan was providing between 25-40 percent of all Israeli oil imports. Israel helped re-equip the Azerbaijani forces immediately after the Nagorno-Karbakh war. And the neoconservative Middle East Quarterly notes that more recently, "Israeli firms built and guard the fence around Baku's international airport, monitor and help protect Azerbaijan's energy infrastructure, and even provide security for Azerbaijan's president on his foreign visits" ("Israel and Azerbaijan's Furtive Embrace," Summer 2006). Since 2005, Israel has sold surface-to-air missiles, rocket launchers, communications equipment, drones, mortars, ammunition military satellites and more. Israeli firms have upgraded Azerbaijan's Soviet-era T-72 tanks and installed a public surveillance system in the capital of Baku. Just last week a factory constructed by Israeli firm Aeronautics Defense Systems began producing surveillance drones. The 2009 cable notes, "Much like Israel, Azerbaijan perceives Iran as a major, even existential security threat."

In my opinion no sane Armenian should ever support Israel again under these facts; had Iran and Russia not helped Armenia, there would have been no Armenia, or at best, Armenians would have become the "New Palestinians."
