they can select and sue lets say 5,000 . than probably courts dismiss the cases.but the names will be exposed even more sharply in the media. if they are students or teachears they will have hard time in school, if they are businessman , ministry of finance will investigete them about taxes, if they are working for government they will be fired etc.
we are living in saddams country.and ı didnt know this really.

They wouldn’t do that. They never would sue 5000 people for signing a petition.
Maximum they can do is to sue the ones who initiated it.
Specially considering they never even used the word "Genocide"I have been there... I have seen ruins of St. Karapet!

I know the Turkish nationalists are the laughing stock of the world when it comes to suing over "insulting Turkish", but this would really take the cake; suing people for apologizing for the mass murder of their ancestors. I bet some part of the people who initiated and signed the petition actually hope that the nationalists do sue them. It would shine the brightest spotlight ever imaginable on the stupidity of the nationalists.

if you speak turkish can you please read the things they say about us.even armenians wouldnt curse that way.
ı cant believe it. lets assume that we are wrong . so what. we dont represent turkey. we represent ourselves. dont people have the right to make a mistake. for example if 100 thousand americans apologizes from native americans for destroying them, does the government of USA sue them or get angry to this.
it is difficult to live in the middle east.
ı want to move to cook islands . can anyone help me.

with this kind of untolarance ,turkey will be rejected even by african union.
lets close our eyes and dream. eu gave a date to turkey to join eu. in return, turkey normalised everything with armenia and cyprus. in year 2020 turkey is accepted as a full member. in 2023 (republic of turkeys 100th year) armenia is accepted to the eu. turkey officially apologised from all armenians. no borders left between the two countries.armenians started to move back to anatolia. ı had a dinner with an armenian in bosphorus,in a fish retaurant. american armenians started to loby for turkey in USA.
But when ı open my eyes. not possible. nobody wants this.

1. I do not believe that Turkey is satisfied with status of eternal candidate to EU. They just simply can not get in and that is a good excuse. So they will try hard and that means that they at least must imitate some kind of freedom of speech.
2. Armenians some day will be back to Anatolia whether turkey enters EU or not.
3. And I actually did have a diner with a wonderful turkish girl in Bosporus fish restaurant and not ones (but always with the same girl)So you do not need to enter EU for that nether.
I have been there... I have seen ruins of St. Karapet!

did you listen the star tv last night, government is going to sue everybody who signed the apology. is that true?
and did you realise, nobody signs it anymore.or is something wrong with the site?
But it's O.K cat's out of the bag,we'll see Armenian Genocide apology site's by the dozens, they would have to make internet gunah to stop it!"All truth passes through three stages:
First, it is ridiculed;
Second, it is violently opposed; and
Third, it is accepted as self-evident."
