I know it is wrong to judge those people, if I don't know anything about the circumstances there. But fortunately I know a lot about the life Armenians lead in Turkey. So I think it is my right to say, that I really have no respect for them and there is no way to say that they are not capable of practising their religion and culture...simply because I know that there are churches and schools. If those peoplewanted to practise their religion and culture, they could. But there is no will, so there is no way. Most of them are just afraid of changing who they are, of loosing their identy, which is a Turkish/Kurdish one, due to assimilation.
My father was knocked nearly every day when he joined the services, but he never ever kept his Armenian identity a secret. He faced all obstacles and although he was struggling with some of them, he made it through. I don't want to call it laziness what prevents them, but a bit of disinterest plays a huge part I think.

Well, unfortunately life is not very easy as an Armenian in Turkey nowadays. (of course I dont mean it was better at 10 years ago) So I dont think that it is easy for a "hidden Armenian" to expose.
Second point, after 80 years as a 4th generation these people already become usual Turks. So even if they know that their roots are Armenian most of them feel themselves as Turks. My fathers, aunts, mother ex. One of her son was a diplomat at Sweden Turkish embassy and he was quite Turkish patriot as I remember.
I dont blame these people, I blame the ideology of the Turkish state to oppress all minorities to form a one type identity.

I was writing an answer to you about the situation in Turkey and how can we find a solution, etc. But my laptop is locked, then I read your other posts and gave up to re-write. You try your best to become a mature person but you are still at the same league with Siamanto, Shkara and others. No need to waste more time with you. Which isn't really surprising, think about it!^^ You wouldn't be nice to someone who harms you in many ways. You can't compare the turkish "hatred" from the past, which, sorry but I have to repeat it again, was not justified and the Armenian "hatred" which is not only based on historical facts but on things which still happen today.
I don't think it's necessary to talk about the behaviour of the Armenian people toward Turks.

Esther, as a reasonable person I want to talk with you. Becasue it is really necessary of the behaviour of Armenian (or lets say diaspora Armenian) people toward Turks. Why? Answer is simple. Regardless of all idiotic nationalistic behaviours of Turkish government on Armenian case, one of the most important fact that make this problem unsolved is this behaviour of diasporans towards Turks (or lets sat "Turk" notion)
We protest and struggle on the oppressions of Turkish government on all minorities including Armenians, but it is not easy when diaspora terrorise everything about Turks-Armenians discussions. This is not about the genocide discussion and one hatred doesnt justify other hatred and make everything worse.
