What you PROBABLY SHOULD NOT post...
Do not post information that you will regret putting out in public. This site comes up on Google, is cached, and all of that, so be aware of that as you post. Do not ask the staff to go through and delete things that you regret making available on the web for all to see because we will not do it. Think before you post!

2] Use descriptive subject lines & research your post. This means use the SEARCH.

This reduces the chances of double-posting and it also makes it easier for people to see what they do/don't want to read. Using the search function will identify existing threads on the topic so we do not have multiple threads on the same topic.

3] Keep the focus.

Each forum has a focus on a certain topic. Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved to the appropriate forum, closed, or simply be deleted. Please post your topic in the most appropriate forum. Users that keep doing this will be warned, then banned.

This means that the bulk of your posts should not be in "fun" threads (e.g. Ankap, Keep & Kill, This or That, etc.). Further, while occasionally it is appropriate to simply voice your agreement or approval, not all of your posts should be of this variety: "LOL Member213!" "I agree."
If it is evident that a member is simply posting for the sake of posting, they will be removed.

Here is a good interview about Lebanon-hezbalah and isreal, Maby mr Iversonmania can learn a thing or two from this interview. Kanadahye and i dont agree on everything but we both agrre Isreal is a racist state with grandious illusions about world domination. People like to pretend and live in a pretend world but i for one rather call a racist genocidal maniac exactly what he is to his face-be it the turckish murderers or the hryas.

Gaza-bound aid ship nearing Israeli waters

        Albuquerque Express
        Saturday 5th June, 2010

Israel remains defiant in the face of international outrage over its
bungled interception Monday of aid boats carrying humanitarian
supplies to Gaza and has vowed to intercept another boat making its
        way to the blockaded territory.

The 1,200-ton Irish ship, Rachel Corrie is carrying just 11
passengers, one of them, Mairead Corrigan, a Nobel Peace Prize
laureate from Ireland, along with supplies such as wheelchairs, food,
        medicine and cement.

The Free Gaza movement that sent the Rachel Corrie has insisted it is
dedicated to peaceful protest and will offer no resistance if and when
Israeli forces decide to board the ship.

Israel will almost certainly order its military to board the ship as
it has, so far, not obeyed commands from the Israeli navy to alter
course for Ashdod. The ship is still in international waters, however,
and therefore is under no obligation to obey.

The previous convoy, organized by the Foundation for Human Rights and
Freedom and Humanitarian Relief, was forcibly boarded in international
waters and, although exact reports of what occurred differ, fighting
between activists and Israeli soldiers ensued and resulted in the
        deaths of several activists.

The botched interception has created frenzied debate around the world.

Israeli officials, and those supporting Israel, have pointed out that
the group who organized the convoy have reported links to insurgent
groups such as Hezbollah, while others have accused Israel of illegal
action, as the convoy was in international waters at the time of the
        boarding.

In contrast to the Foundation for Human Rights and Freedom and
Humanitarian Relief, Cyprus-based Free Gaza has no alleged ties to any
        insurgent organisations.

Israeli president Netanyahu has given orders for the Israeli forces
shadowing the ship to avoid harming its passengers and the three naval
boats following the Rachel Corrie appear to be waiting until the ship
is in Israeli waters this time.

Group plans Cyprus voyage to protest Turkish occupation

          By GIL HOFFMAN

          06/04/2010 05:03

MKs on right slam cabinet for releasing all Turkish activists.

A group of angry Israelis announced on Thursday night that they will leave for Cyprus next week on a flotilla and call for an end to the Turkish occupation of half of the island and its reunification under Cypriot rule.

The group includes Alex Goldfarb, who was an MK in the Tzomet and Yiud parties in the 1990s, and Meretz activist Pinhas Har-Zahav of Modi’in.

An unnamed wealthy Israeli donor is subsidizing the initiative.

MKs on the Right accused the security cabinet on Thursday of buckling under Turkish pressure when it decided to release every Turkish passenger on the Gaza flotilla, even if there was explicit photographic evidence that they attacked IDF soldiers.

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu urged the step in an effort to repair damaged relations with Turkey, and the security cabinet ministers obliged.

The Turkish activists were greeted as heroes when they returned to their country on Thursday. One even boasted that he made an effort to die as a martyr but was unsuccessful.

“I understand Netanyahu’s desire to minimize damage, but I cannot understand the betrayal of the soldiers who see the terrorists who shot at them and stabbed them leaving the country without trial,” National Union MK Arye Eldad said. “Israel has unjustifiably freed many terrorists from prison in the past, but I don’t remember an instance when terrorists who attempted to murder soldiers were not even brought to trial.”

United Arab List-Ta’al MK Ahmed Tibi responded to the departure of the Turkish activists by calling the charges against them baseless.

“There is no proof that they were carrying arms or that they attacked soldiers,” Tibi said. “Israel knows that the tragic result of firing on peace activists is rightfully seen by the world as a crime, so they are trying to cut their losses. Israel had no choice but to release these peace activists.”

Israeli flotilla to be sent to southern Cyprus

                  Sunday, June 6, 2010

                  SEFA KARAHASAN

                  NICOSIA - Milliyet

Israel has proposed sending a ship called the “No to the Turkish Invasion in Cyprus” to southern Cyprus, thus rewarding it for not supporting a Gaza aid flotilla that was halted by a deadly raid last week.

Greek Cypriot leader Dimitris Christofias, who wants to take advantage of the tensions between Turkey and Israel, has sent his foreign affairs minister, Markos Kiprianu, to Israel to meet with his Israeli counterpart, Avigdor Lieberman, to discuss the issue despite the present visit of Pope Benedict XVI on the island.

The Israeli Ministry for Defence praised the Greek Cypriot government for its “responsible approach” in not supporting the ship as it was passing from Turkey toward Gaza.

According to the Greek Cypriot daily Fileleftheros, the daily Jerusalem Post, which is published in Israel, has written that Israel will send a flotilla to southern Cyprus, carrying the message: “putting an end to the so-called Turkish invasion” in Cyprus.

According to the article, Alex Goldfarb, a former Israeli member of parliament, and Pinhas Har Zahav, an activist from the Meretz party, will be on board the ship, which will be sent from Israel to Cyprus.

It is still unknown whether or not the flotilla, whose journey to southern Cyprus will be financed by a rich Israeli businessman whose identity remains unrevealed, will also attempt to land in northern Cyprus.

I understand how Kurds fit in here, but how do Armenians fit in? They'd have to go back at least 95 years. Either that, or they'd try and cross the Turkish-Armenian border...

                    Students plan counter-flotilla

Flotilla organized to aid Turkey's oppressed Kurds, Armenians; show up world's hypocrisy after sharp criticism of Israel's raid on Gaza flotilla

                    Published: 06.06.10, 17:21 / Israel News

Israeli students are planning a "peace flotilla" to Turkey with humanitarian aid for nations who suffered under Turkish imperialism – the Kurds and Armenians. The initiative comes in response to the world's sharp criticism of Israel's lethal raid on the Gaza flotilla which left nine activists dead and many wounded.

The organizers are currently seeking a suitable vessel and trying to recruit other students to the cause. No date has yet been set, but a skipper has been found: Arik Ofir, a member of the navy veteran's union and owner of a private business. They have also obtained medical supplies, and hope that by the end of the week they will be able to set out.

"The whole world saw the flotilla and thought Israel is a terrible state, which comes to shoot people who call themselves peace activists," said Chairman of the National Students Union Boaz Torporovsky, who is also involved. "It's absurd that they always put the Israeli occupation in the headlines and don't talk about extreme Islamic terror. There's a lot of hypocrisy in the world.

"Turkey, which leads the campaign against Israel and makes all sorts of threats is the same Turkey that carried out a holocaust and murdered an entire nation of Armenians, and oppresses a minority larger than the Palestinians – the Kurds – who deserve a state, who have demanded a state for longer than the State of Israel has existed."

"For this reason," he continued, "we have decided to help that minority and show up the hypocrisy of the Turkish government. We are sure that they won't care if we sent humanitarian aid. It'll be a peace flotilla without the knives or stones that hurt IDF soldiers, without violence, which is intended for all those oppressed by the Turkish government.

"If (Prime Minister Recep Tayyip) Erdogan's heart is where his mouth is, which we all know isn't so, he has no reason to prevent the flotilla from arriving."

And what about the practicalities? "For the flotilla to work, we need three elements: Money, logistics and balls," he said. "We're bringing the balls and some of the logistics, but we need lots of money."

The National Student Union has been active in PR for a long time. Torporovsky even infiltrated into a UN conference once, and slammed Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, an incident which received extensive coverage around the world.

Student representatives even got in contact with Iranian students oppressed by the regime in an attempt to raise awareness about what is happening in Iran.
