They'd both need to be convincing. Both the father's rage and the child's fear would be a challenge. I like the idea (of course) and I can't wait to find out what you do with it.

Well, I'd love to build up the story and show each character's personality traits and develop throughout the story. However, I can't have 4 minutes be about the character's and then do a 2 minute chase.

Dreams are not phsyical, they are unattainable.

I'm settled on Siggie's idea even though I keep thinking of mine as well. I'm trying to secure my little cousin for the role, even though he has school all week. I put out a small casting call for the father role. I think I'll shoot this on Tuesday so I can edit it in time and have it scored by the genius who scored my short film.

Looks like this is going to happen. Both characters are secured and they're both coming in on Friday. I have most of the script written, I just need to plot the locations for the "chase" scene later today.

All I need now is a good title.

We didn't have enough time to finish. The footage isn't great and it didn't quite come out like we pictured it. It's okay though, when you're working with miniDV, that's what you get.
