I dunno... 20s were very lax and free and 50s and 60s were the opposite. 
Anyway, I don't think he meant that as the definition of traditional because then everyone after the 90s would be non-traditional.
But this is neither here nor there... my mostly rhetorical question was do these "traditional women" (however defined) not think it's important or do they just not discuss it? Basically, I'm highlighting a measurement problem.
