The Ankap thread is excluded from the strict rules because that place is more relaxed and you can vent and engage in light insults and humor. Notice it's not a blank ticket, but just a place to vent. If you go into the Ankap thread, you enter at your own risk of being clowned on.
What you PROBABLY SHOULD NOT post...
Do not post information that you will regret putting out in public. This site comes up on Google, is cached, and all of that, so be aware of that as you post. Do not ask the staff to go through and delete things that you regret making available on the web for all to see because we will not do it. Think before you post!

2] Use descriptive subject lines & research your post. This means use the SEARCH.

This reduces the chances of double-posting and it also makes it easier for people to see what they do/don't want to read. Using the search function will identify existing threads on the topic so we do not have multiple threads on the same topic.

3] Keep the focus.

Each forum has a focus on a certain topic. Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved to the appropriate forum, closed, or simply be deleted. Please post your topic in the most appropriate forum. Users that keep doing this will be warned, then banned.

If you don't like something that a moderator did, PM or email the moderator and try your best to resolve the problem or difference in private.

6] Promotion of sites or products is not permitted.

Advertisements are not allowed in this venue. No blatant advertising or solicitations of or for business is prohibited.
This includes, but not limited to, personal resumes and links to products or
services with which the poster is affiliated, whether or not a fee is charged
for the product or service. Spamming, in which a user posts the same message repeatedly, is also prohibited.

7] We retain the right to remove any posts and/or Members for any reason, without prior notice.

- PLEASE READ -

Members are welcome to read posts and though we encourage your active participation in the forum, it is not required. If you do participate by posting, however, we expect that on the whole you contribute something to the forum. This means that the bulk of your posts should not be in "fun" threads (e.g. Ankap, Keep & Kill, This or That, etc.). Further, while occasionally it is appropriate to simply voice your agreement or approval, not all of your posts should be of this variety: "LOL Member213!" "I agree."
If it is evident that a member is simply posting for the sake of posting, they will be removed.

8] These Rules & Guidelines may be amended at any time. (last update September 17, 2009)

Bribes 20 million, Safura 10 million, promotion a few million... so unofficial estimates are between 50 and 100 million dollars for a Eurovision Song Contest.

      HAHA!

Actually this new map of Azerbaijan in the new Safura video shows Syunik as part of Azerbaijan. They may have spent a few million on that too.

A few million? I assume next time it will be made of gold, and they will claim Iran as well.

Decisions on Karabakh to be made shortly, RF Duma Speaker states

            May 31, 2010 | 17:40
Specific decisions concerning the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict will be made in the near future, Speaker of the RF State Duma Boris Gryzlov said in Yerevan.

He stressed that clear steps are being made and prerequisites for decisions concerning the settlement are available, he said. It is natural to discuss the NKR’s status during the talks, Gryzlov said. He stressed that the issue of territories controlled by the Armenian side is being discussed as well.

Boris Gryzlov has arrived in Yerevan to participate in a session of the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly.

Hollywood celebrity couple shows interest in Karabakh conflict settlement

Famous Hollywood celebrity Ashton Kutcher is going to visit Baku and support Azerbaijan’s position in the Karabakh conflict, said actor’s friend, regional director of MTV on Eurasia Matthew Goldstein, currently visiting Baku.

“Kutcher, who is the UN goodwill ambassador, will visit Baku in September and take part in a festival on the opening of MTV channel in Azerbaijan. In Baku Ashton Kutcher will hold a news conference on the Karabakh conflict. He knows about the four UN resolutions urging Armenia to withdraw its troops from the occupied Azerbaijani lands. I have already spoken to Ashton’s wide Demi Moore who also expressed wish to visit Azerbaijan”, Golstein said.

Ashton Kutcher, 32, is a popular Hollywood actor famous for his cast in “The Butterfly Effect”, “Open Season”, “What Happens in Vegas”, “Toy Boy”, “My boss’s daughter”.

The title of the UN goodwill ambassador is awarded from 1954 to celebrities who are indifferent to the problems of humankind. Among them are Antonio Banderas, Angelina Jolie, Christina Aguilera, Julia Ormond, David Backham and others.

                Excerpt from article addressing this...

We were unable to find “Regional Director of the MTV for Eurasia, Matthew Goldstein” in the Internet. There are regional directors for Russia and for other countries, but not one for Eurasia. And once again, without offense, we would be much obliged if Mr. Goldstein responded and explained his position to the Nagorno-Karabakh
I also googled "MTV Eurasia" and couldn't find anything. I dunno....

                Here's the whole thing.

Over the past 20 years Baku agitprop has only learnt lying

For some reason, the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs are not declared personae non grata, though they go to Stepanakert from Yerevan.

That the Azerbaijani propaganda can draw up everything to the relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan is no longer a novelty. However, sometimes one comes across such “chefs-d'oeuvre” that it is sinful not to dwell on them. As always, exhibited itself Day.az, whose inadequacy has already become the talk of the town. And it hardly matters how truthful the information disseminated by this portal is, the main thing is that the “aggressor gets its bitters, and the poor and unfortunate people of Azerbaijan live with hopes for a bright future under the leadership of Ilham Aliyev, the undistinguished son and not less undistinguished Supreme Commander.
                May 28, 2010

PanARMENIAN.Net - From time to time Baku declares that her patience is either coming to an end, or it has already ended. Meanwhile, she is engaged in a most favorite occupation for her – falsification and spreading of misinformation. In short, what Baku agitprop has learnt over the past 20 years is lying. Here is a recent example. Regional Director of the MTV for Eurasia, Matthew Goldstein commented on the organization of a concert in Baku with participation of a number of international show business representatives. Referring to MTV's intention to hold a concert in Baku in September, Matthew Goldstein said: “We have already reached a preliminary agreement, invested some financial resources and obtained certain permits for this concert. Azerbaijan has all the necessary prerequisites and conditions for its success.” And then: “Goldstein emphasized that such a concert is impossible in Armenia for political reasons.” “After all, according to the UN resolutions, Armenian troops must be withdrawn from the occupied territories of Azerbaijan, and we shall not hold a concert there until it is done,” he stressed.

Well, firstly, since when do the representatives of show business know the UN resolutions so well? We do not say this to somehow offend Mr. Goldstein. Simply everyone in the West is busy with their own job, and they do not try to solve all the problems of the world. But the funniest part is yet ahead! We were unable to find “Regional Director of the MTV for Eurasia, Matthew Goldstein” in the Internet. There are regional directors for Russia and for other countries, but not one for Eurasia. And once again, without offense, we would be much obliged if Mr. Goldstein responded and explained his position to the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict...

Well, let’s forget it. What looks even funnier is that 120 people, who attended the elections in Nagorno-Karabakh as observers, are declared personae non grata by Baku. It’s quite interesting why the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs are not declared as such, though they too go to Stepanakert from Yerevan. The trouble is that going from Baku is quite dangerous. But this is, so to say, the cost of zeal towards the authorities.

What Baku seeks is that no one ever visits NKR, and that the NKR Defense Army be withdrawn from the liberated territories. Then Ilham Aliyev can safely complete his father's work, i.e. solve the Armenian question in Nagorno-Karabakh. But, alas, Aliyev’s dream is never to come true, and he'll have to comfort himself with recounting the petrodollars that will very soon come to an end. In this regard, it would be useful to remind Azerbaijan that the Soviet Union “ate” $220 billion petrodollars for several years, and… collapsed. However, history lessons are good only for those who understand and add them to their armory.

OSCE PA Azerbaijani delegation member: If Armenia not demonstrate its constructive position, war to be alternative solution to Nagorno-Karabakh conflict
                    04.06.2010 16:16

                    Azerbaijan, Baku, June 4 / Trend M. Aliyev /

If Armenia does not demonstrate its constructive position, the war will be an alternative solution to the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly Azerbaijani delegation member Eldar Ibrahimov said in an interview with the official website of the New Azerbaijan Party.

"Despite the fact that the OSCE Minsk Group has been dealing with the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh problem for the last 20 years, there are no concrete results. The patience of Azerbaijani people has been exhausted," Ibrahimov said.

MP said that the Azerbaijani president demonstrated political will and many times stated about the principled position of our country. Azerbaijani people fully support this position.

"Azerbaijani people are against the prolongation of the conflict. One must not procrastinate. Today, Azerbaijan is developing in all spheres, including in the military sphere. Our army strengthened. It is time to liberate our land from occupation. Frankly speaking, today Foreign Minister must meet with co-chairmen. We would like this meeting to give serious results for the peaceful settlement of the conflict ", the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly delegation member said.
