First of let me say this: As someone much older than me, who fought for the country, who is still in Armenia, I think you have the right to have any view you chose, and unless I, or anyone here for that matter, make the same sacrifices you have made, nobody here has a right to criticize your opinions. Having said that, can you explain why you think the gas deal is hurting Armenia. Do you truly believe that Iran would sell us gas cheaper than $189, or even $270? Because I can not see in any world were that would be even remotely realistic. I'm not an expert in petroleum engineer or the trade of oil/gas, but to me it seems like when Armenia gets something at half the market price, at domestic prices of Russia, that has to be extremely close to the breakeven value of the gas. Why would Iran be willing to sell us something at a loss or minimal profit? Like I have stated before, I am not particularly fond of Russia or Russian culture. I'm not happy that Armenia has to forgo a lot of independent decisions for the near future. I only recognize the fact that the Russian alliance is necessary for the immediate survival of the Armenian state. So can you please explain what your views are? English or Armenian would be fine. Thank you!

Mher. I read your words about Vrej having fought for our country, his age and is still in Armenia. That makes a lot of diffrence.

Vrej... Whatever I say about your posts or the ones who write them, please don't take it peronally. I don't know you. But I take my hat off for you in respect, if what Mher says about you is true.
But also I don't back off from my comments and criticisms about those views. If you had put your own ideas, instead of those political groups, probably there could be understanding between us and we could come to important conclusions that mean a benefit for us.

The only difference I can see between Russia & Iran is russia makes much better weapons than Iran.
Also there was that time when a Russian commander found every single Armenian in a certain village murdered & did chase down the turks that did that & ordered his troops to kill every last one of the hybrid turks.

I am glad that i am not the only one in this forum anymore who calls bs for what it is by these western slappies and spies who work for our enemies. Corruption is nothing new but the savatage we are witnessing is hell bent on the utter destruction of Armenia and is new. It is the growth of these types of saboteurs that is the true threat to our very existence. Many people buy what these davachans say and they do not have the ability to distinguish between truth and dangerous propaganda. This type of action is specifically designed to make it impossible for the government of Armenia to do anything. The distinguishing feature of this malignant tumor is the absence of alternative solutions or answers and very often the absence of stating any problem at all. They are not interested in Armenias problems nor finding solutions to them. They simply want the total collapse of the country.

Everything I know about this topic comes from this forum.
Clearly I'm getting two (2) different points of view.
When someone sells something (gas for instance) to another money is usually what it is sold for.
It seems to me that Iran is saying ... We could lower the price but we want something.
A concession . So a straight up deal is not enough but they want something from us.
It seems to me that is exactly what russia is doing.
We manage to retain a small (20%) control of our (OUR) gas infra structure & Russia pressures us to give them that.
Apparently Iran wants something too & is not happy that they aren't getting it.
Neither of these countries seem to genuinely care for our people or country.
If either actually cared they both have the ability to extend the hand of friendship without putting the other hand in our pocket.
I know, every country has the right to care about their own country.
A big guy was chasing a smaller guy around in a parking lot in Kodiak island one time. The smaller guy was trying his utmost to avoid his pursuer by running around cars so a car was between him & a violent attack. A crowd of people were stand watching this scene unfold. I went into the parking lot and walked up to the aggressor & told him the other guy did not want to fight so stop chasing him. Tough guy says ... What are you going to do? I reply ... Call the cops. Matcho fades away like the twit he was.
So I go up to the smaller guy and say ... I want some concessions . NOT
Any of that make sense?
We all need help sometimes.
When your down and out I suggest you do NOT go to the lending sharks for a loan.
Is anyone out there seeing ANY good choices for us?
What a fkd up situation our country is in.
And yet what's our alternative?
I know the American guy that ran for president had all the answers. At least he said he did.
Iran has clearly stated they will give us a better deal IF we negotiate something.
Am I the only person that would help someone out BECAUSE they need help???

I see clearly How Iranian ambassador makes a series of vague and conflicting interviews. On dec. 4 he said that Iran could supply gas to Armenia sufficiently, stating at the same time that Iran sells gas with international prices(around $500).
After our energy minister said that Iranian gas is much more expensive then russia's, ambassador said in another interview, that Iran could sell it with lower price too. In a latter interview he said that Iran "theoretically" could sell gas to Armenia cheaper than russia (Lower then $100, his words?), Armenian government has never negotiated for gas with Iran, bla bla, at the same interview mentioning that Iran has been supplying gas since 1998 as friendly neighbor. So, Armenia has built a pipeline with Iran and has been buying gas for all those years without any negotiations? Iran has been offering natural gas to us for unbelievable prices and our government did not accept it?
Iranian ambassador mentioned that Iran has been selling gas to armenia as a barter deal. Gas for electricity. No money has been involved.
Criticizers try to overlook this. It means even if 1 cent (which is just for say, Iran never lowers her prices for anyone), the amount of gas is directly related to the electricity they buy. In other words, Iran would dictate the amount of gas for electricity exchange and if people in Yerevan froze in winter or not.
Instead the whole issue is that with russian cheap supply, Armenia is in a better shape to negotiate and dictate better terms for itself in gas for electricity deal with Iranians.
Also, regardless of everything. Even if Iran would sell gas with the price of $100 (which is crazy), what do you guys think of tying our countries' energy security with a country that is under severe trade sanctions from our would be partners and any give and take between us is not looked with pleasure either from Washington or brussels (lragir.am, I am talking about your masters). Take into account the possibility of war between west and Iran, which would be devastating for us. To suffer another 92-94.
I applause our government's energy policies. Good job guys. Armenia has succeeded in keeping nuclear plant open against all odds and all neighbor's protests. Wiped out years of debt in energy and secured low priced supply...
The only problem is for a patriotic government, to look inside at core corruption and clean itself (I hope, they will have the resolve and guts), so eventually our population will live in better conditions and some of other problems which are within us could be taken care of...

Պուտինի այցից հետո Հայաստանում ստեղծված իրավիճակը հիշեցնում է քաղաքական համակարգի հոգեվարք, որը մինչ այժմ կառուցվում էր ռուսական սխեմայով, ընդ որում՝ բացառապես Ռուսաստանի շահերի շրջանակում:
Հոգեվարքը սկսել է այն բանից հետո, երբ ակնհայտ է դարձել երեք խոշոր նախագծերի տապալումը, որոնք Ռուսաստանը չէր առաջարկել, եւ որոնք փաստացի շրջափակվեցին Հայաստանի պրո-ռուսական օլիգարխիկ ուժերի կողմից:
Նախ, խոսքը ֆրանսիական Կարֆուր հիպերմարկետների ցանցի մուտքի մասին է, որը պետք է հանգեցներ առաջին անհրաժեշտության ապրանքների գների նվազեցմանը: Հայաստանի իշխանությունն այդպես էլ թույլ չտվեց Կարֆուրի բացումը, պահպանելով ոչ միայն Սամվել Ալեքսանյանի մենաշնորհները, այլեւ թույլ չտալով արեւմտյան խոշոր ընկերության մուտքը:

Սակայն ամենաճչացող օրինակը Իրանի հետ հնարավոր էներգետիկ նախագծերն են, մասնավորապես էժան գազի մատակարարումը: Իրանի դեսպանը չի բացառել, որ բանակցության արդյունքում Հայաստանը կարող էր ռուսականից կրկնակի էժան գազ ստանալ՝ 100 դոլարով, այն դեպքում, երբ ներկայում Ռուսաստանը գազ է մատակարարում 189 դոլարով: Սակայն Հայաստանը հրաժարվում է Իրանի հետ շահավետ գործարքից:
Հայաստանի քաղաքացիները եռակի թանկ են վճարում կենսական անհրաժեշտության ապրանքների, գազի ու էլեկտրաէներգիայի համար միայն այն պատճառով, որ Հայաստանի ներքին կյանքի բոլոր ոլորտներն ուզուրպացրել են Ռուսաստանի ազդեցության գործակալները, որոնց այլ երկրներում կանվանեին պետական դավաճաններ, քանի որ նրանք դեմ են գնում ազգային շահերին:
Ընդդիմությունը, որը խուսափում է Ռուսաստանի հետ կապված հարցերից, Պուտինի այցից հետո ակտիվացել է: Խորհրդարանում երեկ հնչեց այն, ինչ պետք է հնչեր նախքան Պուտինի այցը եւ գազի պայմանագրի ստորագրումը: Սակայն հայկական ընդդիմությունը սովորել է իշխանությանը պոստֆակտում մեղադրանքներ ներկայացնելուն, երբ արդեն գրեթե անհնար է ինչ որ բան փոխել: Բացի այդ, ընդդիմությունը չի կարողանում հստակ ձեւակերպել իշխանության հանդեպ մեղադրանքը եւ առաջարկել սեփական տարբերակը, եւ դա հոգեվարքի նշան է:
Հոգեվարքի մեջ է նաեւ իշխանությունը՝ Գալուստ Սահակյանը, արդարացնելով պարտադիր կուտակային բաղադրիչի ներդնումը, սակրալ արտահայտություն է արել՝ «նույնիսկ եթե հայերը չեն հավատում սեփական ապագային, յուրաքանչյուր հայ պետք է իր ներդրումն անի տնտեսության մեջ»: Սա պետական ռեկետի վերջին փուլն է՝ յուրաքանչյուր հայից խլել վերջին լուման, Ռուսաստանին ու օլիգարխներին տալու համար:
Ընդդիմադիր գործիչներն իշխանափոխության կոչ են անում, հայտարարելով, որ ներկայիս իշխանությունն ընդունակ չէ լուծել երկրի խնդիրները: Սակայն, քանի դեռ ընդդիմությունը վախենում է իշխանությանը պետական դավաճանության եւ պետական լիազորությունները Ռուսաստանին ու նրա ազդեցության գործակալներին հանձնելու մեջ մեղադրելուց, նրա գործողությունները լինելու են ընդամենը դեմագոգիա:

Ընդդիմությունը եւ ակտիվիստները պետք է բարձրացնեն պետական դավաճանության հարցը, քանի որ միայն այդ կերպ կարելի է բնութագրել Հայաստանի գիտակցված մեկուսացումը շահավետ նախագծերից:

Դեկտեմբերի 12-ին Թուրքիայի ԱԳ նախարար Ահմեդ Դավութօղլուն մտադիր է ժամանել Երեւան: Չի բացառվում, որ կժամանի նաեւ Ադրբեջանի ԱԳ նախարար Մամեդյարովը, համենայնդեպս հայտարարվել է, որ Սեւծովյան տնտեսական համագործակցության կազմակերպության անդամ երկրների բոլոր պատվիրակությունները ժամանելու են Երեւանյան նիստին:
Երկու նախարարների այցը տեղի է ունենում մի ժամանակաշրջանում, երբ եւ հայ-թուրքական հարաբերություններում, եւ ղարաբաղյան կարգավորման մեջ տեղի է ունենում «պարանի ձգում»: Եւ Արեւմուտքը, եւ Ռուսաստանը փորձում են օգտագործել հայկական խնդիրներն իրենց շահերում:
Արեւմուտքը ցանկանում է բացել Հայաստանի հաղորդակցությունները Թուրքիայի ու Իրանի հետ, չփոխելով Ղարաբաղի ստատուս-քվոն, քանի որ Հայաստանի հաղորդակցությունն Ադրբեջանի հետ արդեն չի հետաքրքրում Արեւմուտքին: Այս դեպքում դեր է խաղում Հայաստանի ունեցած աշխարհքաղաքական զսպման դերը:
Ռուսաստանը փորձում է նախեւառաջ բացել Ադրբեջանի հետ հաղորդակցությունները, Հայաստանով Իրան եւ Թուրքիա մուտք ունենալու համար: Մյուս կողմից, Ռուսաստանը Հայաստանի սահմանները պահում է իր վերահսկողության տակ եւ դրանք փորձելու է «բացել իր պայմաններով», թույլ չտալով Հայաստանի տնտեսական եւ հաղորդուղիների դիվերսիֆիկացիա:
Թուրքիան փորձում է խաղալ այս երկու տրենդների վրա եւ հասնել իր նպատակներին՝ Ղարաբաղից պոկել մի քանի շրջան եւ նվազեցնել Արեւմուտքի ճնշումը, որը կարող է մեծանալ 2015 թ.: Դրա համար Թուրքիային անհրաժեշտ է Ռուսաստանի ճնշումը Հայաստանի վրա, ինչը լիովին հնարավոր է, եթե Ադրբեջանը համաձայնվի բացել հաղորդակցությունները Ղարաբաղի մի քանի շրջանները հանձնելու դիմաց:
Չնայած ինքնիշխանությունը եւ ռազմավարական բոլոր ակտիվները Ռուսաստանին հանձնելու անհագ ցանկությանը, Հայաստանն այնուամենայնիվ մնում է աշխարհքաղաքական կարեւոր գործոն եւ կարող է վարել սեփական խաղը: Դրա համար չպետք է «գող փիսոյի» պես մի տիրոջից մյուսի մոտ վազել, այլ՝ պաշտպանել սեփական շահերը:
Իսկ Հայաստանի շահերը պարզ են՝ առանց նախապայմանների հաղորդուղիների բացումը հարեւանների հետ, Ղարաբաղի ստատուս քվոյի պահպանումը եւ Թուրքիայի հանդեպ պահանջների ուժեղացումը:
Դավութօղլուի եւ Մամեդյարովի այցը Երեւան կոչված է ստեղծել «բարի կամքի» անտուրաժ, որի դիմաց Հայաստանից կպահանջեն «նվերներ»: Սակայն այցի պատասխանը կարող է լինել միայն պատասխան այցը, եւ ոչ թե «դժվար որոշումները» հողերը հանձնելու եւ զորք մտցնելու վերաբերյալ: Հայաստանի հանրությունը պետք է դա ցուցադրի Թուրքիային, ինչպես ցուցադրեց Ռուսաստանին դեկտեմբերի 2-ին:

How is it legal to operate in a country where your sole purpose is to destabilize the government? When I took my US citizenship test, I had to swear I would never commit any act to promote a destabilization of the American government. Why doesn't Armenia have a right to do the same? If there is going to be a revolution in Armenia, let there be a revolution, but it should be led by Armenians, for Armenian interest, not for the profit of foreign forces

I can only add that those (naira Hayrumian and inc.) are the ones between the legs of their sponsors, doing you know what. But accuse Armenian population of such, because in general more and more people see them for what they are. Trash...
