Forum Rules (Everyone Must Read!!!)

1] What you CAN NOT post.

You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this forum to post any material which is:
- abusive
- vulgar
- hateful
- harassing
- personal attacks
- obscene

You also may not:
- post images that are too large (max is 500*500px)
- post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or cited properly.
- post in UPPER CASE, which is considered yelling
- post messages which insult the Armenians, Armenian culture, traditions, etc
- post racist or other intentionally insensitive material that insults or attacks another culture (including Turks)

The Ankap thread is excluded from the strict rules because that place is more relaxed and you can vent and engage in light insults and humor. Notice it's not a blank ticket, but just a place to vent. If you go into the Ankap thread, you enter at your own risk of being clowned on.
What you PROBABLY SHOULD NOT post...
Do not post information that you will regret putting out in public. This site comes up on Google, is cached, and all of that, so be aware of that as you post. Do not ask the staff to go through and delete things that you regret making available on the web for all to see because we will not do it. Think before you post!

2] Use descriptive subject lines & research your post. This means use the SEARCH.

This reduces the chances of double-posting and it also makes it easier for people to see what they do/don't want to read. Using the search function will identify existing threads on the topic so we do not have multiple threads on the same topic.

3] Keep the focus.

Each forum has a focus on a certain topic. Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved to the appropriate forum, closed, or simply be deleted. Please post your topic in the most appropriate forum. Users that keep doing this will be warned, then banned.

4] Behave as you would in a public location.

This forum is no different than a public place. Behave yourself and act like a decent human being (i.e. be respectful). If you're unable to do so, you're not welcome here and will be made to leave.

5] Respect the authority of moderators/admins.

Public discussions of moderator/admin actions are not allowed on the forum. It is also prohibited to protest moderator actions in titles, avatars, and signatures. If you don't like something that a moderator did, PM or email the moderator and try your best to resolve the problem or difference in private.

6] Promotion of sites or products is not permitted.

Advertisements are not allowed in this venue. No blatant advertising or solicitations of or for business is prohibited.
This includes, but not limited to, personal resumes and links to products or
services with which the poster is affiliated, whether or not a fee is charged
for the product or service. Spamming, in which a user posts the same message repeatedly, is also prohibited.

7] We retain the right to remove any posts and/or Members for any reason, without prior notice.

- PLEASE READ -

Members are welcome to read posts and though we encourage your active participation in the forum, it is not required. If you do participate by posting, however, we expect that on the whole you contribute something to the forum. This means that the bulk of your posts should not be in "fun" threads (e.g. Ankap, Keep & Kill, This or That, etc.). Further, while occasionally it is appropriate to simply voice your agreement or approval, not all of your posts should be of this variety: "LOL Member213!" "I agree."
If it is evident that a member is simply posting for the sake of posting, they will be removed.

8] These Rules & Guidelines may be amended at any time. (last update September 17, 2009)

If you believe an individual is repeatedly breaking the rules, please report to admin/moderator.

Regardless of anyone's altruistic stance, the bottom line is that the fissure line is between Christianity and Islam.

Islam's goal is world domination by war, by population growth, by stealth and any means possible both peaceful & warlike.

Answer to question : Kurds are enemies, just cold ones at the moment.

Thats called a self fulfilling prophecy. The more people who think that way - the more likely thats how things will turnout. No one is advocating alturism when dealing with other people but opening your heart and mind to possibilities will open up options and opportunities just as closing your mind will close the same things. Neither christianity nor islam make people inherintly good or bad. Many armenians were forced to convert to islam over the centuries-does that mean they were bad people? As most of you know i depise all religions exactly because they force this kind of mentality on people who chances are would have gotten along much better without religion.

Self fulfilling prophecies are created by those who are in a position to manipulate the world so that what they claim becomes true. Nobody can "force" to convert you, it is done through assimilation. For example, when the Europeans came to Canada, they obviously clashed with the native Indians. Over the generations, the Indians (who managed to survive) have lost their "way of life" or what you call "religion". The government even admits to enforcing "rapid assimilation" methods by putting Indian children into Catholic schools. You can't brainwash someone when they are in their 40's or 50's if they've already been programmed to think a certain way. Which is why brainwashing starts at a young age. It creates a leap in a generation so that everything bad that was done for the current government to gain power is forgotten by the people who are now living within that circle of power.

Kurds may not be inherently good or bad people, but there are those among them that wish to form their own state and that can only happen through war. They didn't blink an eye to help assist in carrying out atrocities against Armenians during World War I and nothing has really changed in their attitude since then which is displayed in their involvement in Northern Iraq and South East Turkey. They are also sitting on land that used to belong to Armenians. So the way I see it, it is them who needs to make a friendly gesture to Armenians in order to be friends or else they are considered enemies or at best neutral.

Krdakan, my beloved MORON, the maps of greater Armenia are historical maps, when this are maps of a country that never existed and never will exist.

Re: Kurds are enemy or friend?

I have never in my life seen so many bad examples come from one person. I think you do it on perpose lol. You say you cant force people to convert their religion and right after that you bring up a example of a people who were forced to convert. Many armenian villages were forced to convert, the turckish army came in and said either convert or die and many chose to convert. There is a significant population of muslim armenians living in turcky who were forced to convert in this way and this is why we and turcks are no longer geneticaly all that different. Here is some good history info http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Av86NirLkZI
The kurds also intermarried and stole brides from us so there is also lots of armenian blood in both turcks and armenians. The notions of there was no intermigling(forced or by choice) is simply wrong.
Kurds were used by the turckish government to kill us, this is a fact and the fact that they were being used does not justify what they did to us but the enemy of yesterday can be the friend of today. Times do change so do people(even older people). Kurds can be a friendly nation or a enemy, it all depends on our and their leadership.
Btw i think even you can see how religion promotes the self fulfilling prophecy. That is exectly what the zionists are trying to do today by misinturpirting ancient religious texts.

Then all I do is "pretend" to convert and obey. It's not like all of a sudden I've transformed from a truck into a robot
