Dont forget blockade and war but thats not what this thread is about. Armenia has many big problems and the reproduction rate is not the biggest one. Armenia needs access to markets, end to oligarchy, peace .. these and many other problems are far more important then being and staying hetamnats.

Explain "hetamnats" because I thought prostitution was the world's oldest profession.

Yo Mos overpopulation does not mean your doing well. These muslim countries are gona run out of resources especialy water in the middle east and then i wana hear you tell me how well they are doing. As for Armenia the problem is way more economic then reproductive.

Well usually economic problem is correlated with reproductive problem. Armenia's birth rate is alarmingly low, but with improved economy, and also with encouragement by government to have bigger families, it can be made better. I think though one of the ways to approach the moral issues is through firstly education in schools via religious education and so forth (already being done under title "History of Armenian Church"). I also think that our civil laws should be compatible with God's law and our national church should play a bigger in everyday life and have more say in the political process. The way it is now, we change our laws/decrees based on what some liberal European bureaucrats tell us too. I really don't like that.

You still dont get it. It will not matter who is reproducing more effectively when overpopulation will destroy our world. In the end does it matter if the last person on earth to die is white, black , brown, or orange? If the traditional values you speak of mean having lots of kids then it is that traditional value that will doom humanity thus either way your argument makes no rational sense. You are basically saying o look the muslims are like the lemmings running the fastest to suicide dive off the cliff so lets join them.

There is no "over population". Hell, the only reason the Chinese government enforced the one child law is because the population got too large to govern. They had to migrate people and sell them off to other governments .

You don't hear J3ws screaming over population, they are BULLDOZING other people's homes just so they can make room for growth. There are condominiums going up in major cities around the world to prepare for the influx of immigrants from rural areas into cities.

I agree with you that there are Hayastanci women (esp Yerevanci) that are being influenced by these Western lifestyles/fashion and thus acting in such a foreign manner.

The reason divorces happen is because it has become a part of western society. Most kids' parents are divorced by the time they are 18. It's part of their life cycle. They see this as the norm so they expect that it's something they will experience in their lifetime. They see average women as prostitutes that are less likely to have sexually transmitted diseases than actual prostitutes so to them, that's marriage material. They really don't have any choice in the matter since that is the society they live in.

The institution of marriage in the West has become a joke. Marriage is a sacred union. In the West, marriage has become something of convenience, which you can get rid of when you get tired. The kids are the ones who suffer though, and the family remain dysfunctional for a long period of time. There's a reason why marriage has traditionally been done at a young age, with the woman being a virgin at marriage. Such marriages lasted longer, were more cohesive, and much better families.
