The story about the Amalekites is just an Old Testament story about genocide... it's more of a comparison than an actual belief that Armenians descended from the tribe of Amelakites.

Are Americans directly responsible for the Iraq war? The war in Afghanistan? They may be the army that's doing the dirty work but the architects who drew up the plans are the ones pushing the buttons and giving orders.

The author of the book is of Jewish descent so he merely applied his knowledge of history to his natural exposure to Zionism. The Ottoman Empire had to be dismantled to create the state of Israel and it isn't too far fetched to connect the Armenian Genocide and the elimination of a strong presence of Christians by their Muslim neighbors in the region in order to convince those in the West to go to war for the coming of their Messiah (usual Hrya tactics)

The ARF at the time supported the Young Turks (Committee of Union and Progress) up to the time of the genocide (they likely shared members in free masonic lodges). The CUP was a set of very well-educated Turks from Europe (specifically the Balkans); they were known to be free masons. The ARF's intentions were to have an independent Armenia.

Henry Morgenthau, the Zionist US Ambassador to the Ottoman Empire, DID not actually help the Armenians in any way (unlike the protection he provided to the Jews of the Ottoman Empire). Although he wrote a book propagandizing the massacres and genocide of the Armenians to the American government and public (in order to turn them against the Turkish Muslims).

At the time, American missionaries were sent to "convert" Armenians to Christianity, but they were already Christian. The author suggests it was likely a ploy to create hysteria within the Empire that the Americans are organizing the Armenians (divide and conquer).

Actually, Dre has a point, some of the founding members of the CUP were of Donme and Khazar origin, namely Mehmet Cavit Bey (a Donme from Thessolonika/Salonika in the Ottoman Empire, now Greece), Tekin Alp (also from Salonika), Emanuel Karasu (also from Salonika, later Istanbul) were organizers of the Jon Turkler/CUP, and did theorize Turkish Nationalism. Many of the MHP support their ideas.

I'm not linking this to xxxish people in Europe (Ashkhenazi) who had jack to do, nor am I justifying WW2 to be clear to everyone, just stating that Dre is right in saying there was Sephardi, Khazar and Donme people who helped commit the Genocide. Nor am I sure it has any link to do with Amalekites, I always thought Armenians came from Japheph according to Hebrew religion.
But he does have a point with Turkish/Donme involvement in the Genocide

Questions:

1) If atheism isn’t a religion, then why do atheists debate theists and try to convert them?

2) Why do most people in the media that claim to be atheists are of J3wish upbringing? It is my understanding that the first step of conversion is turning a person against their religion of birth (wipe the slate clean) in a long term agenda of converting the next generation.

I dont believe or following anything, a lot of my friends ask "how do you get through life without hope." I find it irrelevant to me being a nonbeliever because i dont need "hope" or "faith" to get through tough times. I respect those who are religious, really i do. I just cant.

How do you get by without hope? What does that even mean? Without the feeling hope at all? Hope for what?
