Oh my... I used to be the most shy person on this planet. Not just shy, but so emotional too. You know how I got over that? By people being jerks to me.

!EEK, it's OK to be somewhat shy but not SHY. I honestly don't think that there is anything good about being shy. It does nothing for you. Nada. Zip.

Anyway, with friends, not even close ones, I'm not embarassed of talking about anything. But as soon as they start asking me questions, ANY questions, and they tell me I'm getting red, well...I'm already red!

Part of being shy is being embarassed of the outcome of whatever is making you shy. So, ask yourself what is that you are embarassed of.

I useto be shy, but then again being shy what is that, you cant' define these things. So maybe this advice will help. Look at yourself in the mirror and make faces at yourself. Then run up and down the stairs yelling at the top of your lungs. Then try to jump over your couch. Go to an aol chatroom ones w/ voice chat and cuss people out. Then go back and make some more faces at yourself in the mirror. If that doesnt work I'm afraid I have to recommend electroshock therapy. It works wonders in movies.

The truth is you're shy because you havn't found your "place", or you're reason not to be shy. For example If Anonymouse walked into a big ass frat party being thrown by cougars, and mt. lions, he'd xxxx himself and become incredibly shy. On the other hand If he were thrown into a frat party being thrown by wisconsin cheeseheads, he'd be doing keg stands all night.
