You are not in a court room nor are you under oath.
You are on a bullitin board where "stupid" statements are responded.
The process is faster and tranparent. It does not cost any money either.
All in all you are getting a fair deal.

I will take the opportunity to highlight another one of you below average statements

But the guy has nothing to lose. It's a waste of time talking about them.
I think our Government , Sasna Tsrer , and the rest of the opposition are hungry egoists.
They are nothing but a headache.
From what I understand this guy has a few bob yet he is risking everything including his freedom and highlighting the dangerous course
of our so called fraudelantly "elected" leaders.

Politics is not about the pursuit of morality nor what's right or wrong
Its about self interest at personal and national level often at odds with the above.
Great politicians pursue the National interest and small politicians personal interests

Rumor has it that the Turks are fixing some customs checkpoints on our border.
I hope people are not mixing up the news that they're gonna build a wall with this one.
If anyone has any info on it please let us know.

I do not believe in distribution. It will take away the human stamina of progress. You will build a lazy society that will be living on social welfare that will eventually break the spirit of the “provider”. If you want some distribution, tax some more the ones on top. Having said that, even if all the assets of the ones on top are redistributed, it will not be enough for the lazyazz to continue their unless existence. Your name says Socialist yet your ideology is Marxist. As you may know, that ideology failed miserably all around the globe. Unless you think North Korea is an ideal place to live. Let Vietnam be your example. With all the war and killings they kept their communist ideology till it crumbled on its own. Now they are a main supplier of US goods. They put their knee pads after 35 years of their communist ideology and sucking noises are coming from that country. Social Ideologies are on big BS. You will always have people that will know how to make money others to beg for it. I can be a Liberal with some aspects but I am full fledge fiscally conservative. No one handed me anything and I am happy to live in my means.

Sweden. Denmark. Canada. These are my examples. There are a plenty of hardworking people in Mexico and Bangladesh, maybe you think that Armenia and the US should be more like the last two instead of the first three?

Too complex of an issue and on the wrong thread. Sweden and Denmark have an honor system, honesty and decent genetic. Canada has vast natural resources. Mexico and Bangladesh are dumb shets. Armenia has corruption that should subside with time. Let us agree to disagree.

That's fair. I do feel that the Nordic countries are a great model. Nothing is perfect, and we can definitely build our own model, but it is definitely good to see that such development is possible and out of the realm of make believe.

I think you are lacking in Armenian Politics. Do you really believe Pavlik when out on his own will and risked his life for the greater good and future of Armenia? If so , we are on different levels. Like I said you don't understand the Power play that's going on.
It's sad that our people suffer in the process but don't think for a moment that any of these guys who raise arms against its people can do better. No need to defend him or them or who ever. In my hands they will see the Garen Demirjian punishment. Concrete blocks and swimming with the fishes at the bottom of Lake Sevan.

First we were comparing ourselves to Israel, then Nordic countries, now we believe in imaginary boundaries like liberalism and conservatism...you guys are so lost but then again so are most others. Left/right conservative/liberal chrystian/muslim/jew rich/poor...these are all imaginary ways for people to separate themselves from their fellow human beings. The minute you give into this groupthink mentality, you doom yourself and others along with you. Why cant Armenia just be Armenia and not be constantly compared to other countries? Why cannot our destiny be our own and not a rerun of another nation? We as people have much more in common that bind us rather then the differences that separate us. Redistribution of wealth would not be needed if we had a nation of laws that was able to look out for the public good. Thanks to capitalism we do not have this. When wealth is so highly concentrated in the hands of the very few, then redistribution is the right call for sure. Once this is done, it needs to be followed by a strong legal system that looks out for the interest of the public good instead of being a prostitute for the highest bidder. This will not distort incentives to work as you can earn more money and become rich but you cannot use your riches to harm the public good. The welfare of a society is far more important than the wealth of an individual. We can do the right things, we can do them our own way, and this will make us the proud Armenians who live in a country we have always wanted. All this sounds great but our heads are so full of BS like right and left wings that I wonder if we will ever look at ourselves as just people who want the same things.

This had been rehashed a hundred times probably, but just to reiterate, we need a gov which cares about its people. If we start there we can start to have progress. Look at the spitak earthquake survivors still living in tin cans. This is how much the gov cares right now. We need a president who is independent from business money that will bring true change. Unfortunately russia will make sure that never happens.
