In the 20th Century they could not even say the G word. Here we are in this great time of change. It is the 21st Century and they still can’t bring themselves to say the G word. So here we are and every idiot on the planet is counting time changing; what good is watching your watch when some things are not changing but time?

Hip Hip Hurray! happy new fecking century to you too mother feckers!
You are very ignorant if you do not think that the world in general is making progress with regards to Armenian Genocide recognition (the United States in particular). Although President Obama's April 24 speech did not use the G word, he did clearly imply that there was intent in the Ottoman killings and that his "views about history have not changed." (a clear indication that he sticks by the views he espoused when campaigning).

IMO, Obama will recognize the Genocide after re-election (when he doesn't have to worry about another re-election and the pressure of the Defense Department and LM, Boeing, Raytheon have lessened).

Whether this will have any tangible results, I have no idea.

You have to be kidding me to use this bull as your argument. Are you kidding man or do you really smell a lot of roses during your normal day to make you this lost? Most people have to drink heavy like me to even get close but so be it. It is a lot better for your body not to drink as much! After all if you can do it just by smelling a rose so be it. This is not a laughing matter...

Well I guess someone read between the line, they were not all joking all the time were they?

"and somebody anser to my posts cuz i thniks iam invisible here"

Hey little Armo, what makes you think no one sees you? You think everyone else is also blind?

With you in Greece (a country having recognized the Genocide) and Vahram being (as far as I can tell) in Armenia, both of you may be slightly disconnected. The United States is the only country that has real leverage over Turkey, so there stance is really the only that matters.

In 2007, the US legislative body passed a Genocide Recognition bill, with a wide margin. It had TONS of support. Former president Bush actually felt compelled to go out on White House lawn and beg Congressman not to vote for it. He was THAT desperate. The trends are evident, and I still think Obama is our best chance.

Vahram, yet another post with no meaning but much rambling. You are probably one of those people that would disregard April 24th speech completely if the G word is not used. But you have to pay attention to the whole thing. If you do that, the progress is obvious. The Armenian diaspora is probably second only to Jhewish lobby in terms of influence.

The armenian lobby is very good at taking money from armenians and putting it into the hands of american polititions and getting absolutly no results. I have been observing the armenian lobby in action for 30 years during this time they have gathered countless millions from armenians and have blown it all away without having anything to show for it. Every year we sit there like idiots on april 24 watching to see if so n so president will say the g word and every year we get disapointed and every year we give more money to be disapointed yet again and so it goes on and on and on... The armenian lobby works against the armenian people not for them.
