Forum Rules (Everyone Must Read!!!)

1] What you CAN NOT post.

You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this forum to post any material which is:
- abusive
- vulgar
- hateful
- harassing
- personal attacks
- obscene

You also may not:
- post images that are too large (max is 500*500px)
- post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or cited properly.
- post in UPPER CASE, which is considered yelling
- post messages which insult the Armenians, Armenian culture, traditions, etc
- post racist or other intentionally insensitive material that insults or attacks another culture (including Turks)

The Ankap thread is excluded from the strict rules because that place is more relaxed and you can vent and engage in light insults and humor. Notice it's not a blank ticket, but just a place to vent. If you go into the Ankap thread, you enter at your own risk of being clowned on.
What you PROBABLY SHOULD NOT post...
Do not post information that you will regret putting out in public. This site comes up on Google, is cached, and all of that, so be aware of that as you post. Do not ask the staff to go through and delete things that you regret making available on the web for all to see because we will not do it. Think before you post!

2] Use descriptive subject lines & research your post. This means use the SEARCH.

This reduces the chances of double-posting and it also makes it easier for people to see what they do/don't want to read. Using the search function will identify existing threads on the topic so we do not have multiple threads on the same topic.

3] Keep the focus.

Each forum has a focus on a certain topic. Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved to the appropriate forum, closed, or simply be deleted. Please post your topic in the most appropriate forum. Users that keep doing this will be warned, then banned.

4] Behave as you would in a public location.

This forum is no different than a public place. Behave yourself and act like a decent human being (i.e. be respectful). If you're unable to do so, you're not welcome here and will be made to leave.

5] Respect the authority of moderators/admins.

Public discussions of moderator/admin actions are not allowed on the forum. It is also prohibited to protest moderator actions in titles, avatars, and signatures. If you don't like something that a moderator did, PM or email the moderator and try your best to resolve the problem or difference in private.

6] Promotion of sites or products is not permitted.

Advertisements are not allowed in this venue. No blatant advertising or solicitations of or for business is prohibited.
This includes, but not limited to, personal resumes and links to products or
services with which the poster is affiliated, whether or not a fee is charged
for the product or service. Spamming, in which a user posts the same message repeatedly, is also prohibited.

7] We retain the right to remove any posts and/or Members for any reason, without prior notice.

- PLEASE READ -

Members are welcome to read posts and though we encourage your active participation in the forum, it is not required. If you do participate by posting, however, we expect that on the whole you contribute something to the forum. This means that the bulk of your posts should not be in "fun" threads (e.g. Ankap, Keep & Kill, This or That, etc.). Further, while occasionally it is appropriate to simply voice your agreement or approval, not all of your posts should be of this variety: "LOL Member213!" "I agree."
If it is evident that a member is simply posting for the sake of posting, they will be removed.

8] These Rules & Guidelines may be amended at any time. (last update September 17, 2009)

If you believe an individual is repeatedly breaking the rules, please report to admin/moderator.

What you think about the Mullahs that have infused Islam in every element of Iranian society and politics, including foreign policy. Calling for a world dominated by Islam and Jihad. As a Christian nation of Armenia, I am worried by such doctrine and ideas. What would Iran's policy be if Azerbaijan was taken over by a religious revival with Shias becoming more prominent? Would they abandon Armenia and quickly ally with Azerbaijan? Relations between Iran and Armenia could be much closer, if it wasn't for the heavy theocracy of Iran that dominates the political life.

Listen, if you feel sorry for cult members or provocateurs sent by foreign intelligence agencies, just send the Iranian government a letter that they can come and live with you. Here's the reality: there's an information war going on - nobody from California hikes on the Iran/Iraq border during war time - Iran legitimately has caught Pan-Turkist and Zionist agents in Iran. Turks send those people to Armenia and Iran; Israel and the U.S. send them to Iran also (likely to Armenia as well).

It's from PanArmenian - a reputable Armenian news site. When it comes to being "newsworthy" you're the one who keeps posting all those youtube videos...

Actually US has one of its biggest embassies in Armenia (oddly enough), the land is huge, I've driven by it many times, and it's a huge complex. I bet there is an active CIA post that works from there.

On one hand you're claiming that countries make friendships/enemies based on personal interest and on the other hand you're worried about Muslims taking over the world. If Armenia would stop catering to America's interests and form regional friendships, all your worries would disappear. As long as Israel through America is trying to use Armenia to infiltrate Iran, Iran has a reason to be worried.

If you really care for the Republic of Armenia then you would support this Islamic regime since it has proven to be been better to Armenia’s foreign interests than the nationalist ones. Regardless religion has little to do between Iranian and Persian relations that you are so desperately trying to ruin, shoon shan vorty degha doo incheta?

I disagree. America is trying to infiltrate Iran through Azerbaijan, not Armenia. I'm not worried about Muslims taking over, I'm worried about some of the doctrine that Iran's religious leaders spew as they tend to be very pro-Islamic and against anything that isn't Islamic.

The Islamic Republic of Iran does not call for such things, stop quoting made-up Israeli media stories Moses.
Religious leaders of Iran have said such things:

We do not worship Iran, we worship Allah. For patriotism is another name for paganism. I say let this land [Iran] burn. I say let this land go up in smoke, provided Islam emerges triumphant in the rest of the world.
                      Speech in Qom 1980
“The slogan ‘Not the east, not the west’ was the principle slogan of the Islamic revolution in the world of hunger and the impoverished. This is the established principle of Islamic nations and countries who, in the near future and with the help of Allah, will accept Islam as the only ideology leading to salvation – and they will not go back from this principle in the least.”
“I say with surety that Islam will make the world powers abased. Islam will remove huge obstacles both internally and externally and will overtake key positions in the world.”
“Our goal is to implement Islamic international goals in the world of poverty and hunger. We say that there will be fighting as long as there is polytheism and disbelief and as long as there is a fight we will be there. We do not have any [beef] between any city or nation. We have decided to raise the flag of ‘La ilaha ilallah.’”

It seems Iran lost patience in cooperating with the regime in Baku after it sent its own troops into the Fizuli region of Azerbaijan on September 2, 1992. In so doing, Iran organized a safety corridor for Azeris escaping the massacres of Armenian nationalists and later assisted in the arrival of 1,300 volunteers from Afghanistan to fight for Azerbaijan. The lack of reciprocity on behalf of Baku to Iran’s friendly gestures forced Tehran to slightly readjust its approach toward the conflict in Karabakh.
I support Iran, for the sake of our relations, especially economical, not too crazy about the religious leaders and their doctrine, but given their friendly relations to us I support them. But at the same time am keeping my eye out for Azeri-Iranian relations, because if those improve because of some change in Azerbaijan, that could spell trouble.
