Forum Rules (Everyone Must Read!!!)

1] What you CAN NOT post.

You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this forum to post any material which is:
- abusive
- vulgar
- hateful
- harassing
- personal attacks
- obscene

You also may not:
- post images that are too large (max is 500*500px)
- post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or cited properly.
- post in UPPER CASE, which is considered yelling
- post messages which insult the Armenians, Armenian culture, traditions, etc
- post racist or other intentionally insensitive material that insults or attacks another culture (including Turks)

The Ankap thread is excluded from the strict rules because that place is more relaxed and you can vent and engage in light insults and humor. Notice it's not a blank ticket, but just a place to vent. If you go into the Ankap thread, you enter at your own risk of being clowned on.
What you PROBABLY SHOULD NOT post...
Do not post information that you will regret putting out in public. This site comes up on Google, is cached, and all of that, so be aware of that as you post. Do not ask the staff to go through and delete things that you regret making available on the web for all to see because we will not do it. Think before you post!

2] Use descriptive subject lines & research your post. This means use the SEARCH.

This reduces the chances of double-posting and it also makes it easier for people to see what they do/don't want to read. Using the search function will identify existing threads on the topic so we do not have multiple threads on the same topic.

3] Keep the focus.

Each forum has a focus on a certain topic. Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved to the appropriate forum, closed, or simply be deleted. Please post your topic in the most appropriate forum. Users that keep doing this will be warned, then banned.

4] Behave as you would in a public location.

This forum is no different than a public place. Behave yourself and act like a decent human being (i.e. be respectful). If you're unable to do so, you're not welcome here and will be made to leave.

5] Respect the authority of moderators/admins.

Public discussions of moderator/admin actions are not allowed on the forum. It is also prohibited to protest moderator actions in titles, avatars, and signatures. If you don't like something that a moderator did, PM or email the moderator and try your best to resolve the problem or difference in private.

6] Promotion of sites or products is not permitted.

Advertisements are not allowed in this venue. No blatant advertising or solicitations of or for business is prohibited.
This includes, but not limited to, personal resumes and links to products or
services with which the poster is affiliated, whether or not a fee is charged
for the product or service. Spamming, in which a user posts the same message repeatedly, is also prohibited.

7] We retain the right to remove any posts and/or Members for any reason, without prior notice.

- PLEASE READ -

Members are welcome to read posts and though we encourage your active participation in the forum, it is not required. If you do participate by posting, however, we expect that on the whole you contribute something to the forum. This means that the bulk of your posts should not be in "fun" threads (e.g. Ankap, Keep & Kill, This or That, etc.). Further, while occasionally it is appropriate to simply voice your agreement or approval, not all of your posts should be of this variety: "LOL Member213!" "I agree."
If it is evident that a member is simply posting for the sake of posting, they will be removed.

8] These Rules & Guidelines may be amended at any time. (last update September 17, 2009)

If you believe an individual is repeatedly breaking the rules, please report to admin/moderator.

Get involved. Fax or email the following to various embassies and/or organization.

        *******************************

Levon Ter Petrosian Must be Punished!

The treasonous criminal Levon Ter Petrosian and his team of bloody usurpers need to be punished for their crimes against the Armenian state. We expect to see Levon Ter Petrosian and his team imprisoned for life, exiled or executed for their crimes. President Robert Kocharyan waited far too long to crack down the masses of absolute idiots pursuing suicidal political agendas. If Armenia is to be respected as a viable nation serious about protecting its national interests, every single one of the organizers of last weekend's failed coup d'etat need to be imprisoned, deported or executed for treason against the state. There can be no sane excuses for supporting a treasonous criminal like the turkophile Levon Ter Petrosian, especially after having observed eight years of his corrupt and ruinous presidency. If the Armenian electorate was dissatisfied with Serzh Sargsyan they should have given their support to any of the other presidential candidates - not Levon Ter Petrosian. Sadly, a significant portion of the Armenian nation today has revealed severe political immaturity and social irresponsibility. Consequently, a significant portion of Armenia’s citizenry has revealed that they are unable to govern themselves via democratic means.

Nevertheless, we expect the Armenian state to:

Ruthlessly crush the bloody rebellion and severely punish its leadership.

Summon the Russian FSB to help hunt down and eliminate anyone involved in the funding and/or the organization of this attempted coup d'etat.

Shut-down western funded anti-state media outlets such as A1 Plus, Hetq, Armenianow and Radio Liberty.

Subject to closure various NGOs in Yerevan that are engaged in anti-state activities.

Deport foreign agents such as Onnik Krokorian and Richard Giragosian back to where they came from.

Deport the brainless pig Raffi Hovanisian back to his stinking hole in California.

Up hold the rule of law and order in Armenia.

Protect at all costs the territorial integrity of Armenia and Artsakh.

Protect at all costs Armenia's alliance with the Russian Federation.

Serzh Sargsyan's presidency will be judged by whether or not he is able to eradicate the HHSh party within the Armenian Republic. The HHSh party is a cancer in Armenia serving American and Turkish interests. This dangerous cancer needs to be eradicated as soon as possible.

        Signed,

        Concerned Armenians

Tigran Torosian: Yerevan events should be lesson for everyone

The latest developments in Yerevan are the result of dirty policy and should be a lesson for all, RA NA speaker Tigran Torosian told an extra parliament session. “The authorities resorted to the move because there was no other way out. Imposition of state of emergency was a hard decision to take but we could not allow Ter-Petrosyan’s supporters to go wild throughout the city,” he said. “All what took place is the result of hatred and anger spread by sown by Levon Ter-Petrosyan and his team-mates during their unauthorized rallies, the hatred that originated from beating of deputies in 1996,” he said. Mr Torosian emphasized that the authorities have shortcomings and there are unresolved problems in our republic but nothing can justify people who violate the law 10 days long. “Nothing can justify those who shoot at policemen, violate public order and jeopardize security of the citizens,” the speaker resumed.

It is now very obvious that this was a coup d'etat attempt. There were many factors at play here. Prior to the elections: South California porniks were mobilized (we have several of them here as a matter of fact); various English language websites and blogs were mobilized; several Armenian news agencies were mobilized; and several relatively prominant figures in the government and the military were mobilized. I vividly recall how A1 Plus was reporting on the evening of February 19, 2008 (the day of elections) that Levon has won a resounding victory. I simply could not believe what I was seeing nor did I understand at the time what was going on. It was confusing. All the other news media sources, Armenian and international, were claiming that Sargsyan had won handily - yet A1 Plus was reporting that Levon had won - big.

I kid you not, I kept going back and forth to A1 Plus thinking that I am hallucinating... The very next day Levon's petty demons were publicly stating that Levon had won 80 percent of the vote and that the authorities had stolen the elections... Then it all made sense. Another website called Hetq was inciting the crowds with incendiary news reporting and playing victim. Anyway, I think A1 Plus' director has been detained and beaten up and the station shut down completely. All this, not to mention the fact that guns and hand grenades were suddenly manifested the day after the police crack down. According to my friend in Yerevan, the only military fatality was that of a captain that threw himself on a hand grenade to protect this young conscripts.

This was a dirty dirty criminal rebellion carried out by enemies of the Armenian state fueled by masses of mentally retarded idiots and street porniks. Every single one of the financiers and organizers of this bloody coup need to be placed in front of a wall and shot through the head. I kid you not, many Armenians today are calling for Levon's blood - especially ARF-ers. They are sayign that Sargsyan is a very vengeful character. I really really hope there is some little hit team being prepared... This Levon demon opened up a lot of old wounds and the large new wound he gave our nation today won't heal for a very long time. I hope these developments serve as a wake up call to the Armenian people worldwide and the authorities in Armenia....

Electoral fraud confirmed. Apparently the Prosecutor General just confirmed that an election official has been arrested and the official admits that ballot figures for Sargsyan, Hovannisian and LTP were greatly exaggerated.
