Forum Rules (Everyone Must Read!!!)
1] What you CAN NOT post.
You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this forum to post any material which is:
- abusive
- vulgar
- hateful
- harassing
- personal attacks
- obscene
You also may not:
- post images that are too large (max is 500*500px)
- post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or cited properly.
- post in UPPER CASE, which is considered yelling
- post messages which insult the Armenians, Armenian culture, traditions, etc
- post racist or other intentionally insensitive material that insults or attacks another culture (including Turks)
The Ankap thread is excluded from the strict rules because that place is more relaxed and you can vent and engage in light insults and humor. Notice it's not a blank ticket, but just a place to vent. If you go into the Ankap thread, you enter at your own risk of being clowned on.
What you PROBABLY SHOULD NOT post...
Do not post information that you will regret putting out in public. This site comes up on Google, is cached, and all of that, so be aware of that as you post. Do not ask the staff to go through and delete things that you regret making available on the web for all to see because we will not do it. Think before you post!
2] Use descriptive subject lines & research your post. This means use the SEARCH.
This reduces the chances of double-posting and it also makes it easier for people to see what they do/don't want to read. Using the search function will identify existing threads on the topic so we do not have multiple threads on the same topic.
3] Keep the focus.
Each forum has a focus on a certain topic. Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved to the appropriate forum, closed, or simply be deleted. Please post your topic in the most appropriate forum. Users that keep doing this will be warned, then banned.
4] Behave as you would in a public location.
This forum is no different than a public place. Behave yourself and act like a decent human being (i.e. be respectful). If you're unable to do so, you're not welcome here and will be made to leave.
5] Respect the authority of moderators/admins.
Public discussions of moderator/admin actions are not allowed on the forum. It is also prohibited to protest moderator actions in titles, avatars, and signatures. If you don't like something that a moderator did, PM or email the moderator and try your best to resolve the problem or difference in private.
6] Promotion of sites or products is not permitted.
Advertisements are not allowed in this venue. No blatant advertising or solicitations of or for business is prohibited.
This includes, but not limited to, personal resumes and links to products or
services with which the poster is affiliated, whether or not a fee is charged
for the product or service. Spamming, in which a user posts the same message repeatedly, is also prohibited.
7] We retain the right to remove any posts and/or Members for any reason, without prior notice.
- PLEASE READ -
Members are welcome to read posts and though we encourage your active participation in the forum, it is not required. If you do participate by posting, however, we expect that on the whole you contribute something to the forum. This means that the bulk of your posts should not be in "fun" threads (e.g. Ankap, Keep & Kill, This or That, etc.). Further, while occasionally it is appropriate to simply voice your agreement or approval, not all of your posts should be of this variety: "LOL Member213!" "I agree."
If it is evident that a member is simply posting for the sake of posting, they will be removed.
8] These Rules & Guidelines may be amended at any time. (last update September 17, 2009)
If you believe an individual is repeatedly breaking the rules, please report to admin/moderator.

Originally posted by AnonymouseNow Mr. Winston, how can you sit there and deny that you have never had thoughts of acting on these very sexual thoughts with your female friends, all the while being married? Now I know it's tough, and I don't expect you to be forthcoming as most married men are not, but you do not have to get frustrated. Remember, we control frustration, it doesn't control us. And the reason you will not admit this is because it will prove me right (and we know how you would hate to have me proven right), thus who knows what you will make up, all these mythical friends of yours, to somehow "prove" that I am wrong. But it's okay, life is indeed a varied thing. Here, I'll pour you a glass of wine.
Ok - but back to this issue of men and women being friends and perhaps having sexual attraction and such. Well sure - I have sexual thoughts about women all the time - so, what does this prove? Well for one it does not preclude interaction or friendship - and its not at all as if having such thoughts actually means wanting to act on such - so there is really no frustration factor. And I have a very open relationship with my wife in that I can and do discuss anything with her (and we can and occasionally do have fun with or are just amused by such sexual thoughts [on my part] - I have no problem at all telling my wife that some gal made me horny and specifically why etc...whats the big deal?...shes not at all insecure about it...and besides my wife gets the benefit of my amorous feelings regardless - and she loves the fact that I'm a very randy guy [perhaps unussually so I'll admit/and she seems to think so!... ] - even at my age ...big time!).
However your claims about actually wanting to act on such thoughts about other women and being frustrated and such are giving more weight to such thoughts then they deserve - and that is entirely my point. Its natural (and all in good fun) for men and women to have sexual thoughts/desires and such concerning the opposite sex (each in their own way). Proximity and time together can obviously increase this (but not necessarily as we develop accepted/expected patterns of interactions and such issues - if they ever were a factor - often fade away or transform into perhaps a caring relationship - but without actual desire (for sex). But the reason you think that sexual attraction is deterministic for male-female relations (meaning no possibility of friendship because of such) - is because you see no value whatsoever in women apart from sexual - and this is your problem (perhaps shared by many [unenlightened and primitive thinking] men...oh and most Muslims it seems...and here you are arguing that you are "European" - far from it...). So while I can appreciate the sexuality and obvious sexual attributes of women - I also appreciate them for what they are - people - with many things (other then sex) to offer (and no different - for the most part - then any guy friends I/one might have). And in fact I'm probably overemphasizing the sex part only to acknowledge it - but in fact it normally plays little ot no part in any interaction I might have with any and all women I meet on any given day or that I know and interact with on a long term basis. I know these concepts are all totally alien to you - but this is only due to your underdevelopment as a human being...and I'm sorry for that...but please don't try and pretend to be an adult just yet....you have quite a ways to go.Last edited by winoman; 03-09-2005, 08:28 AM.

Tom Lykis is God. Although most of what he says about women is hypocritical considering he's a fat ugly pig who's been married 4 times and STILL hasn't learned his lesson....but he's funny nonetheless.
As far as this topic goes...If men would only stop thinking with their peckers for one goddamn second, they would be able to see that their girlfriends are with THEM...not her guy friends. That right there should tell you something of her judgement...I've never cheated on anyone in my life, and to assume that women who have "guy friends" will cheat faster is logical however unwarranted. The point is, everyone should be allowed the benefit of the doubt, or the insecurites that plague the male population considering this issue will grow...

I'm just the type of person who gets along well with others and I am interested in what others do and think and have established and maintained a great many friendships over the years. In fact 2 weekends ago we had a get together of a group of friends that have known each other - and stayed close - since High School. And some flew in from accross the country (the party was for a friend who was visiting from Iraq). Many people - such as yourself obviously (who likely has no friends at all) - just can't fathom how such a large groupsof us can still manage to stay such close friends over the years - but we have.[COLOR=#4b0082][B][SIZE=4][FONT=trebuchet ms]“If you think you can, or you can’t, you’re right.”
