    Thanks Womble, I had forgotten the Armenian-English connections Lij-lake and bayts-but.

    Goshik-shoe is very probably and is one I had not yet noticed.

    Voki-vocal is on thin ice, but probable...

    Scottish-Armenian should have more words in common for the Scots are direct decedents of Historic Armenia.

              I've heard that linguistically, there is a relevant amount of ancient connection that doesn't look like it's just coincidence. I don't know what to make of it though and if Armenian could explain in greater detail, I'd also be interested.
